Personally, I like Failedlegend's idea around the SP problem and unlimited casts issue: have a larger echoes of power maximum SP limit which increases with your Warlock level, I'd even go one further: increase SP regeneration with level, or make it a level 18 feat.

I'm mixed when it comes to pets, but it would be a shame not to have a reskinned wolf into a hellhound, especially with all those summon and pets enhancements.

Shape-shifting ? The only shift I recall is into a Baelor (spelled right?) and even then I think it was epic levels I believe. But I'm ok if we don't have that, provided we have two very warlocky things:

1) unique spells. Come on druids and artificiers have unique spells so why not warlocks??

2) a way to have a more unlimited spells use than wizards and sorcs.

Don't underestimate Mind Fog, that's a very handy spell for enchanters. At the moment, I can see people going either enchantment or necro specced...just like wizards. But yes, this list is a pretty tight pick and everyone will pick from the same 6-12 useful spells.

I am definitely looking forward to making a tainted scholar warlock focused on enchantment and crowd control. That's right up my alley because I LOVE spellsingers and enchantment wizards. The additions of the confusion abilities will round it out nicely.

Me, I'll probably make a Great Old Ones going primarily Tainted Scholar. One of my favorite things about a Warlock is the Eldritch Blast, ant the TS enhancement line seems to enhance that the best. I have already reserved couple of names in preparation , Varool and Hexenblade.

Is Eldritch Blast going to be subject to Arcane Spell Failure?

Eldrich Blast doesn't suffer arcane spell failure. It's a toggle that changes your basic melee attack into tossing an eldrich blast. Your actual spells though can and do suffer from arcane spell failure when wearing armor. So plan accordingly if you intend to use armor.

Works fine in light armor (and upgraded to medium armor in enlightened spirit tree).

The other one is an EE TOEE Part 2 with 2 other warlocks as a first lifer that i was primarily testing the speed of Enervating Shadows and the fact that i could outrun the Eldritch Blasts and if the mob was moving i would be lucky if i got 1 hit out of 15 or i had to go extremely close to the Danger Zone.

At,least I don't have to deal with them much since only epic long enough to earn a heart

Didn't want it in the first place but the more I hear the more I feel I was right especially since they seem to have gone any alignment

I'm not surprised. I personally didn't like that video. Too slow, and stressful to watch.

I don't like this.. mass hold. I can simply out speed and out kill shiradi warlocks on my warlock. So, choose your build wisely

Skills
Upon reaching level 20 for the first time with a character, Warlocks unlock Primal destinies. This is only relevant to new characters, not existing characters who have already unlocked any Destinies.

This isn't correct at the moment on Llama land. Brand new characters achieving 20 for the first time are presented with their choice of Arcane destinies instead.
