Ranger/Rogue or Fighter?

I'm thinking about an Elf Ranger build but idk if pure is best or go 3 Fighter for Kensei or 3 Rogue for Mechanic. How about 14 AA Ranger/3 Rogue/3 Fighter to get both enhancements? I want ranged, dps & heals. Is ranger the best or should I go WF Arti or WF PM Wiz? Thanks.

People say the DPS trails off around level 15 or so, but WF Arty is still a good combo.
Kite and pew-pew-pew, reliable self-heals, unlimited ammo, UMD for all the things.
Plus a pet that pulls levers for you

If I had to go out on a limb, 14 ranger 5 rogue 1 ftr would probably work fine. However, you either want good ranged or good melee, so you need to decide. Deep Wood would give decent for both, but the ranged isn't going to be as great as taking tier5 mechanic, and all melee dps is slightly behind paladin, barbs, bards, and rogues until they get a pass.

14 pally 4 rog or arty 2 arty or rogue bladeforged is supposed to be a great xbow build. I've played with a few and they do put out dps, but lack the flavor I feel you're asking for.

My favorite ranger splits are 18/1 rog/1 ftr, 15/3 pally or ftr/2 rog, 11/6/3

A fun split is 12 ranger/5 rogue/3 paladin then go with heavy armor and use daggers

Paladin instead of fighter boosts saves.
