    Default Holy Sword Trading

So I only just tried this today after thinking about it for a while, and it works and is pretty broken so long as you don't mind waiting a few extra seconds at the start of each quest:

Apparently you can trade your weapon to a paladin, he can cast Holy Sword on it, and then trade it back and it keeps the enchantment for the full duration. Not sure if this is WAI, but it's pretty dang awesome, especially if you're a crit-based character running with a paladin.
Which brings up a similar question: can someone do the same thing with other "self" buffs that attach to the weapon like artificer enchantments? It'd be slightly inconvenient to pass around weapons each quest, but the results would be fantastic.

Also, as a side note, does anyone know why a rogue's ranged power would jump from the 20 stated in the enhancements to 50 after U25 Patch 2? Cause for some reason that I couldn't figure out, that happened.

I do this with my mechanic rogue all the time. There arent alot of named great crossbows So i pass him my best lootgen great crossbows. Remember it has to be unbound and the pali has to equip it so don't craft a binds on equip one to him on accident.

As it does not work with most powerful weapons (as those are bta/btc) I don't see much of an issue here.

    Attention newbs.

Don't trade your weapon to random Paladins in order to have Holy Sword cast on it.

    They will probably vendor it.

If this were PnP and I was the DM, I would give the pallie hell for blessing a Barbarian's killtoy lol

For role playing all the paladin would need to say is 'may Amaunator guide this blade for a noble purpose' then do his thing and hand it over.

You know, a Paladin of Aumanator could bless every weapon in a barbarian tribe and Aummie would cheer for him if that tribe was attacking undead or Shar.

Actually, Avatar of Nature build with holy sword would probably do better than what you suggest regarding the ToEE weapon.
