Default High Lords will host Master Artificer & Lord of Blades teaching raids on Sat, May 2

Our last teaching raid The Titan Awakes was fun and we saw lots of new people to our teaching raids! CLICK HERE to read about it!

Next in our teaching raid series will be a double feature in House Cannith: The Master Artificer and The Lord of Blades on Saturday, May 2 at 9pm EST!

All events in this series are for players new(er) to the raiding scene or players that are looking to learn raids better. First timers welcome! Dbags not welcome. Please have sound and be willing and able to follow instructions.

The goal is to welcome newer players into the raiding scene, to teach people how raids work, to get players more comfortable with raids and to enhance the Sarlona community. There is no level cap for any of our teaching raids, but you must be at least level 20 to enter epic content.

If you are new to MA and LOB, you will need to flag by running 3 quests in House C:
    · Schemes of the Enemy
    · Power Play
    · Blown to Bits

You will need to have access to the Secrets of the Artificers adventure pack.

Space is limited so reserve your spot ahead of time! If you would like to reserve a space in this Saturday's event, please contact me in game on Gingerspyce.

Thanks for all the support and special thanks to DDOCast and DDO Chronicle for mentioning our events. We hope to see you in raids soon!

    Love,
Gingerspyce and The High Lords of Malkier

PS. All are welcome to attend our Tuesday Night Abbotfest (heroic) and our Friday Night Mark of Deathfest. These events aren't as formal as our teaching raids but we are happy to explain how the raid works to new players.

Check out the collection of our teaching raid videos in the Guides & Strategies forum HERE!

Hopefully I can get in the next one

    Default Best turnout ever!

Wow what a great turnout! Best we've seen for one of our teaching raids. We had 8 people that were new to or still learning MA and LOB. Half the group was new to our teaching raids, while some of the others have joined us for a few of our events. Great smooth runs and it was a lot of fun. Here's the video of Master Artificer (with pathing shown) and I'll post the Lord of Blades video in a few days!

Thanks for doing these! All three of us from the Silent Blades of Stormreach had a great time. I will definitely be recommending this event and your videos to newer players I come across. Have you considered mentioning the Sarlona help channel at some point during the event?

Looking forward to the LOB video!

Thanks for leading these last night. All the explanations were really clear and I enjoyed the experience. I'm in a solo guild and haven't run many of these raids, so I think it's great that you take the time to open up these runs like this. Much appreciated.

A big thanks to the High Lords for doing these training raids, it's a great idea. I had a great time and learned quite a bit in the process. I've just returned after a couple years off, and haven't had much raid experience outside of Shroud, so this is perfect timing for me. I hope to make a few more if I can fit them in my schedule. Hopefully I can buff up my character a bit by then too.

I did have the dubious honor of being the first casualty. Everyone was cool about it. I also had a great surprise from the group. I was the only Arti in the group and everyone pitched in to help me get Toven's Hammer with both upgrades. It was really cool of you guys to run the optionals and to pass me everything I needed.

Thanks again to the High Lords and especially Gingerspyce for hosting the event.

Slom, Dan and Jacyn, I'm really glad you guys came and had a good time. Hopefully it will encourage other first-timers to our teaching raids to come along!

Here is the Lords of Blades video...
