I almost deleted this whole thread when you said that, but I looked in game and the in game description says that it does both. Thankfully that means its WAI and should stay that way!

That is pretty huge in my book. I'm totally convinced now that swapping to dex is going to be the way to go. I dug in a bit and looked at what I could get in exchange for the 27 points I have in harper.

I will lose 9 MP and KTA.

I will gain from a 24 total point investment in Acrobat:
    7 dodge (4 in core + 3 shadow dodge)
immunity to knockdown and slippery surfaces
    -40% threat
    -15% threat
    30% helpless damage
    haste boost

In assassin I will add in:
    Execute (now at 400% MP)
Deadly strikes (now at 10 points)

Then I have 3 AP left... some options there are:
1 more point of DEX from harper (shadow dodge already covered all 3 stat points I had in harper)
    3 critical damage in assassin
    sneak damage in shadarkai

    OK.

On a halfling pure rogue I can hit 49% dodge cap. I can hit 56% max dex bonus with epic duelist leathers. Best I have found so far, and not too bad an armour to boot.

You can temporarily get +5% more with cartwheel, but its only for 20 seconds, and you have to give up all the tier 5 assassin tree stuff.

The only difference (vs my drow) is the +3 max dodge bonus in the racial tree. But its not easy to max all this out without giving something up somewhere else. So I ended up one off of max so I could keep the assassin tree capstone.

So looks like 48% is about the best I can do with assassin tree primary and acrobat tree secondary and still having all of the best the assassin tree has to offer. I went 41 in assassin tree, 31 in acrobat, and 8 in halfling racial.

maybe spashing monk would get a few more added to dodge cap, but you would give up a lot to get just a few more points, so it looks like the trade-offs wouldn't be worth it for me anyway.

Hopefully there will be an augment that increases max dodge

Yea, I'd still like to see either nimbleness or MTF raise max dodge & MDB.

As light / no armor builds, a 50 dodge is not that crazy. As a comparison, my paladin build had 69% damage reduction from just PRR.

Anyway, thanks for helping me work through the numbers Mel.
