    Default Devs: One Minor Change

Hello, I wanted to propose a small change to the airship buffs display at the top of the screen. Right now, I am running into a minor problem where XP and Renown pot timers are being blocked from view, and at no time while the buffs are active can I see the time remaining on them. It's a small issue, but would be nice to see a fix.

My ideas (any one would work):
    1. The option to suppress all ship buffs so only the timer is viewed. I know already what buffs are on my ship, and I know that normally, they will all share the same timer!
    2. Set it up to where the XP/Renown boosts are always shown at the beginning of the stream, a feature that could be toggled on or off from the UI options.
    3. The ability to click and drag to scroll through the buff bar when it goes beyond the width of the screen.
    4. New monitors for every player having this issue that are wide enough to fit every buff. (No? C'mon!)

Again a minor change, but it would make a huge difference. I don't like having to guess or calculate how long remains on my XP pot when I should really only have to look at the top of my screen! Thanks!

Agreed its a pain, but theres a simple work around. Target yourself and hit z unless you remapped the z key.

    Default Another Note:

Another Note: I know I can select/view myself, but would still like to see a change brought to this. And yeah, this thought only occurred to me after I posted wall of text. ^

I agree with all the suggestions you've made except the obvious one about buying new monitors (due to the lack of UI scaling I was already forced to buy a new monitor in 2009 just to play DDO, as it happens, so 'buy a new screen' does not appear to be advice Turbine finds objectionable. But I do), they're all good.

Scrolling the bar would be my favourite because I do like to be able to see exactly what I've got. If you've a small ship you'd want to as well because you can get access to many more buffs than your ship can actually hold. If you are going to raid or something then you might spend some time grabbing a buff, swapping the buffs around, hitting the buff bar on deck again, rinse repeat till you have all available buffs.

But yah, F1 then z does it for me.

Meh, just condense guild buffs into 2 icons that have hover detail popups. 1 for new, 1 for old. This would reduce it greatly.

That might be hard to do with the older buffs, but I think it should be easy to do with the newer buffs. I also think it would be a good idea to consolidate them down. Sometimes the list of buffs gets so long that I can't see my buffs that I placed on myself, and will be expiring sooner than the ship buffs.
I support old suggestions and ideas that were never represented, and may dig up some odd things in the process.
If I am doing something wrong, please tell me so I can fix it.

Not good enough. The buff UI is screwed up, and can't take advantage of the wider monitor. My buff bar cuts off at about only 60% of the width of my screen; there's buff I can't see, even though there's still plenty of empty space for them.

    Additional suggestion:

The ability to right-click on any timed buff in my buff bar, and dismiss it early. Spell buffs, ship buffs, whatever.

This would be a convenience in some cases, and an anti-griefing tool in others.
