Vanished character

Has anyone ever had a character vanish without a trace and even CS not being able to find it? it happened to me and Mike tried to help me but wasn't able but at least he tried really hard

Wow, that's rough. I've not had that happen. The closest I've had to that experience was logging into the wrong server where I had only one character. After 5 minutes of panic I realized my mistake.

Turbine HAS to have a backup database. If they do not have a backup database then shame on them.

Does Lamannia have anything?

I am intrigued by this and thankful it has not happened to me.

I hope you get them back, a regular of my static group a few years back lost all characters and was reduced to free. He was premium and had paid for the extra slots.
2 months of banging head off customer support and he gave up. The group stopped playing as a unit after that. We moved onto other games for our lan sessions.

I hadn't played the character since march but it was a level 28 paladin I transferred back in Jan from g-land to Khyber kind of upsetting Mike worked quite awhile and sent it on up the line.

Have you checked he hasnt boomeranged to g-land?

Never copied the character to lamaland not a fan of sneak peaks for myself but the information they have doesn't make sense.

nah been with my current for over 19 years and she doesn't know my password because she doesn't care about it one way or another plus it wasn't my main character just one I really liked

Yes CS figured out my error had a lot going with losing my dad who while never a gamer loved Tarzan and suportted my gaming habit
