    Default Mechanic gear

I'm planning to tr to mechanic and I'm having trouble figuring out a gear setup that I really like (going pure human, but shouldn't matter much, most mechanic builds probably want the same stuff).

Here is what I have in mind so far:

    Helm: Epic Defic Diadem
    Goggles: Epic Mentau's
    Necklace: TOD AA set
    Bracer: Dumathion's Bracer
Boots: GS land and sky 3xhp
    Gloves: Sanctified Gages
    Belt: Epic Thoughtful Remembrance
Cloak: new fragment turn in thing probably
Ring1: TOD AA set /w healamp
    Ring2: Seal of House Avithoul
Armor: Light Shadowscale w/ SA upgrade
    Trinket: Epic Litany

Slotting everything necessary, not gonna bother listing augments... There is no way there aren't enough slots these days.

Anyways, just wondering if anyone has a better idea, because I'm not entirely satisfied.

PS. want to keep the TOD set for sure.

so you are planning to stay at cap (lv28) for an extended period of time? If not, don't worry so much about lv26+ gear.

    Instead plan around level 5, 9, 11 (GS Accessories), 12 (GS Weapons), 14, 20, 23,24, and lv25 gear.

Why level 5? You said TR - so your character probably can just go with starter gear and a ember greataxe and just whack through to then. Level 5 is when the first real fun named items start appearing (voice/cloak) Chrono, etc loot starts becoming available to equip.

Level 9 - Another transitional level that some great items become available - plus it is at about this level you start needing to shift focus of gear because of quests.

Level 11 and 12. Two words: Greensteel.

    Level 14 - Gianthold Armor

Level 20 - transition to epic content

Level 23 - Needle and other CitW weapons if you have them

Level 24 - 3BC gear and other fun stuff

    Level 25 - FoT Gear

Level 26 - only 3 million xp to go until you cap - don't sweat the small stuff! :P
