Old version of named item, can it be upgraded to the new version?

Hey Everyone,

I did some searching but my google-fu has failed me.

Is there a way to upgrade an old named item, say, chaosgarde or muckbane, to the new version without having to run the quests again until the new version drops naturally?

I have tons of older stuff like this and it would be a huge boon to be able to update those items somehow.

Many old items like those were intentionally not changed because the new versions were changed to BTA or even BTCoE.

Items that are upgraded with no drawbacks are generally fixed/upgraded automatically.

Remember, what YOU feel is a benefit may not be for someone else.

Bottom line. Re-farm the new item.

Really? Thats unfortunate. I had to run Xorian Cypher about 100 times to get 2 chaosgarde's and 2 belts. The thought of having to do it again is just painful...
