There used to be a place in the middle of the Marketplace where all players could go and see a list of the top level Guilds on that server? Does something like that still exist in the game? I'm not talking about a forum thread maintained by players, that is all well and good and I applaud those efforts. You're thinking of the Founder Guilds list on the Fountain in the Harbour by the IQ Gates and that hasn't worked in years!


As for seeing Renown contributed - As long as I've been playing {I created my Guild on Cannith in mid 2010 about a week after I came to DDO} you've only been able to see the renown contributed by the specific character you are on at that time {not account total, character total}.

Being able to see renown contributed by guildies would be a good thing in some ways but would also be a bad thing as many guild leaders would use it as a reason to boot.

For newbies and Casuals who don't have EE ready characters renown is actually very difficult to accrue. Especially in a guild of more than 15 players!
For a guy who's E-TRing an EE ready character on a major renown pot and running nothing but EEs in a guild of 15 players that's 1 million plus renown just from Saga rewards! {In a guild of 6 that's 2.75 million renown just from Saga rewards!}.



I've recently opened up my Guild to more people {we now have 15 accounts rather than 6} and having lost 200k renown per saga {on a pot} it's simply not worth my time any more to run the Heroic Sagas I was running beforehand and there's literally no way the extra 9 players {only three of whom are actually properly active} can cover that renown loss unless I told them they had to just to be in the guild {something I have no intention of expecting!}.
