Does Coup De Grace work with SAP Feat?

Good question! It ought to, since Dazed is listed as one of the conditions under CdG, but I've never thought to test it myself.

Description

When this feat is activated, a melee special attack is made. If it hits, the victim is dazed for 18 seconds normally or 30 seconds from a successful sneak attack. (Whether or not your character can normally perform sneak attacks) or until they are damaged. Unlike Trip and Stunning Blow, no save is made against this effect, as of Module 4.
Creatures who cannot be sneak attacked will not be affected.^[Unverified]
Sap works very well in epics.


SO theoretically - yes it should; however finding a bard with CDG AND Sap might be a challenge. :P

I ask this because SAP definitely does not work with assassinate.

CDG (ranged) does not work with any CC that breaks on damage, because the damage part of the attack is applied first, and breaks the CC before the instakill part is checked. I don't know about melee, but probably not for the same reasons.

I can say for sure that this is not the case with fascinate. I only melee on my bard and never have a problem using coup on fascinated enemies.

Still don't know about sap though, sorry OP.
