Default Showing DEX to damage on weapons even with strategic combat II

I thought I had seen a post about this, but I can't find it here in the bug forum.

I built up a rogue last night and was at 55 INT and 35 DEX. The weapon listed (STR, DEX, INT) to damage in the upper portion of the window, but then had "dex to damage" as a listed effect.

Is this worth pursuing or is it another display bug?

The weapon gains the effect "dex to damage" from the Assassin core, allowing you to use dex as your damage stat if it is your highest bonus. As it isn't, this effect only matters when viewing the weapon itself, since it also has int to damage.

In this thread the OP is complaining that Tempest DEX-to-dmg is overriding Strategic Combat on scimitars, even though their INT is higher. Something similar may be happening to you.

Easiest way to check is drop Strategic Combat, do some DPS tests, then add SC back in and retest. [I would also skip KtA and Versatile Adept to keep the playing field level.] If your DPS improves after adding SC, it's just a display issue; but if your DPS remains the same, then Dagger in the Back is overriding SC.
