    Default Knight of the Weave

figuring out a flavor build based on the 3.5 prestige class Knight of the Weave.

I have all f2p stuff+drow, pdk, and monk.

Basic idea is a eldritch knight with medium armor, swf OR twf (swf with orb), "spellfire", great mobility (so max jump, and high run speed, preferably with DD if possible), and cure spells.

    benchmarks to fill

Teleport (9 wizzy or 10 sorc, or human dmark)
dimension door (7 wizzy or 8 sorc, bard 10, or human dmark)
spellfire (open to suggestions here, less worried about the opness of the spell than the mechanic, thinking something like magic missiles, or maybe scorch? i don't really know how all the spells look so ideas are welcome here)
    Armor (EK tree)
Healing spells [(does not have to be able to raid heal, just stay alive most of the time in HE) so levels in pally, cleric, bard, or ranger]

off the top of my head, 9 wiz/7 cleric/4 ranger. wizzy gets mobility spells, ranger gets free combat feats, cleric gets CCW divine power and DW. i'd personally go elf with scimmies/undying court. main trees would be EK, and tempest. some points would also be allocated into WP and PM (wp for combat buffs, PM for hp), and a couple into AA for conjure arrows (more flavor).

advice on how to non-gimp myself would be A+

With that split you can run in vampire form--see link in my sig (dual fanged runts)

I'm not sure how well this fits the KotW PrC thematically, but my first idea was: INT-based elf or drow wiz 15 / bard 3 / rog 2; SWF w/orbs & rapiers (for Aerenal or drow bonuses). [If you have Harper, take KtA+Strategic Combat; if not, take Two Steps Ahead from SB.] Feats: SWF x3, Imp Crit Pierce, Precision, Insightful Reflexes (lt armor + Evasion), Emp Heal, Overwhelming Crit, 4 wiz bonus feats of your choice; drow could take Dodge feat + Imp Dodge enhs for +6% Dodge. For EDs, I was thinking DC with Fire Energy Burst+Rejuv Cocoon Twists. Gameplay: corral mobs, drop your AoEs, melee down the rest while Consecration and any other DoTs proc; Cocoon + Sacred Ground should provide all the HoTs you need (knock on wood).

Could still use some help hammering out finishing stuff, i've basically decided on the split in my OP (9 wiz/7 cler/4 ranger), and am wondering what feats i should be taking?

imp and greater twf for sure, possibly manyshot for the ranged opt? emp spell? emp healing?

    more suggestions are welcome
