    Default Green Steel Crafting Question

A - hopefully - quick question. I'm trying to plan out green steel items to make on my first life, first character. I've noticed that there are a number of aspect affects you can craft with certain combinations. My question is: on green steel accessories, do different tier 2 guard aspects stack? For example: If I made a bracer with Aspect of Radiance II - Radiance Guard (on being hit - 15% chance to inflict 4d6 of light damage and potential Blindness) and a cloak with Aspect of Salt II - Corrosive Salt Guard (on being hit - 2% chance to inflict 5d10+50 untyped damage every 2 seconds), and I wore both at the same time, would the affects stack? Thanks!

Disclaimer - these two items are both theoretical and not items I'm currently considering crafting.

All guards stack. Keep in mind that you cannot wear two greensteel accessories unless one of them is cleansed. That usually entails running shroud 20 times for the cleansing token.

Yes you can. There is absolutely nothing stopping you from equipping two green steel accessories simultaneously even if neither is cleansed. Now, it might not be a great idea to do so, but you absolutely can do it.

Just here to say it's a really bad idea to do so. I forget every life I never cleansed that hit point item, and die on the ship retooling my gear choices at level 12 gleefully looking over my gear choices and not noticing the dropping... it's become a running gag with my static group. But it IS possible. This life, however, I'm getting that stone before any more tr's dangit. LOL

Popcock, I do it all the time. I have multiple characters in fact, who carry around a second, completely non-upgraded uncleansed item for the specific purpose of equipping two.

At this point I suppose I should probably mention that I do this specifically to kill the characters so I can put their stones in my backpack and have their ghosts follow me around while I tri-box...
