ToEE endfight

If you die and release in this fight does it reset? I was soloing with hirelings and when I released and came back the quest was reset.

This is too difficult even on epic casual. Tried twice, I know how the mushrooms work, and I went through stacks of cakes with no completion.

I have the jewel cloak on my toon, when i didn't quite make it to a sheltering mushroom and at the end of the quest had all 20 charges never used a one for any spell is it coded badly, it says it does spell absorption just like the pale lavender ioun stone! Is the ioun stone the only working spell absorption item in the game i have noticed that in other quests also!

Are you wearing more than one spell absorption item at the same time? As I recall there is a bug where only one of them will try to absorb spells and even when it hits zero the other one will still stay at full charge.

I have since made the ioun stone i just hadn't done it since i had the cloak! I did just run it again after getting the ioun stone and it did absorb the effect but the cloak did not i tried both with rez cakes to verify that i was right! Have seen that in other quests on occasion also not sure if it is a bug or maybe the cloak does only directed spells at you and ioun stone does aoe and directed!
