Character copy not working!

I just tried again and here is my results:

8:15 Central - logged in and clicked the copy tool from the drop down on the website.
8:19 the page changed from the home page to a blank page with a spinning yellow circle.
8:28 and the spinning circle is still spinning.

Try clearing your browser cache and give it another try. Let me know if it works.

If you have an issue with the character copy, the first thing to do is to log into that character on live, log out, and try.

Tried this and it not work.

In all my attempts I never advanced past the screen in my post above. Was going to try a level one toon, but when I tried to get back on Lamania I got stuck at waiting for connection. I did get in earlier when I started, but could not back into Lamania around 8pm PST.

The other most common issue is an item conflict: if character A has item X, you copy A to Lamannia, then send X to character B, B probably won't copy correctly.

I've been trying to copy for the past 12 hours. I'm having the exact same issue everyone else is having, the pages are not loading. We are not getting to a selection of any characters to pick from to copy.

I don't think most folks are getting that far, Cordovan. The furthest Ive gotten since 4:00 Central yesterday is to the first screen where you select server. Not getting anywhere near selecting a character.

Having issues here as well. Tried last night and again this morning.

The page takes about 5 minutes to load. When it does load it says player transfers are currently not available. It lets you select your server anyway from the drop down box. When I do, the loading wheel just sits there and spins indefinitely.

I've tried 2 different computers from 2 different locations, and 3 different browsers - Firefox, IE and Chrome. None are working.

I did this too. One machine was win 7 and the other win 8.1. Tried all those browsers too.

I cleared the cache

it took five minutes to go from the home page to the Move character page (further than I got before, granted) now its been about seven minutes with the spinning yellow wheel after I selected Sarlona.

I'm guessing the issue is really just server overload from too many people trying to access the copy tool at once.

After about 23 minutes the page just went white with a 502 error.

To be specific the error page reads:

502 Bad gateway
nginx/1.1.19

The first time I tried was about 4:00pm last night.. Bad Gateway error.. tried throughout the night, and the page never loaded. Still not working this morning, same problems...

We have made an adjustment that we believe should resolve this issue. If everyone's hitting the copy tool at the same time, it's - possible - there may be some long initial loading and such, but I've just successfully copied a non-admin play account character over without issue, and so have a few others I've asked.
