Current default?

I use to check DDOracle.com to see what server was the current default, but since the site appears to have been abandoned and hasn't been updated in nearly 5 months, I was wondering if Sarlona was still the destination for new players?

Also, does anyone know when it'll be Thelanis' turn for a little population increase?

How I test it

C:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\Dungeons and Dragons Online

Look for the userpreferences.ini file and COPY it to something like userpreferencesMarch13.ini

then

I go edit my userpreferences.ini file

C:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\Dungeons and Dragons Online

go look for this EXACT

Yes, you will have stuff after the equal signs but I deleted that stuff to show you what you might have

Just delete all of that stuff under [User_1]

Then, log in, enter a username, it will take you to the current default server.

Log out.

Copy over the userpreferences.ini file from userpreferencesMarch13.ini to userpreferences.ini, no harm no foul.

Or possibly even easier solution,

1. Copy userpreferences.ini file to something like userpreferencesMarch13.ini
2. DELETE userpreferences.ini file. Turbine will make another
3. Launch game
4. Have a CLEAR account selection screen
5. Enter your account name in, enter in your password
6. See what world is the default
7. Terminate game
8. delete userpreferences.ini file
9. Rename or copy userpreferencesMarch13.ini to userpreferences.ini

I would be willing to help any refugee farm gear and craft for them.

I play on both servers and it's sometimes dead on Thelanis. However, I'm in the PST time zone, so perhaps most folks play from other time zones so it feels dead, but may not actually be.

Yeah same here, about the helping any refugee's out.

Or all players could voluntarily move over to Ghallanda and be done with it. It was also eliminate server merge threads, but increase lag threads. Then we will see real money being spent on a super duper awesome server upgrade with all the connection bells and whistle improvements that would also be done at the same time. Or just pinch just one of the WOW servers that currently caters for 100K players on its lowest settings.
