    Default Named Item Development

After the lack of new items associated with the Mimic event, I have to assume there was no time for developing new items. How about an "official" "Named Item Creations" thread is started here in the forum. Players can suggest named items with ML, damage, name, theme, etc.. whatever... This might give the devs a database of ideas to pull from when the time comes to add new items to the game. Perhaps even, players who have their item implemented can be eligible for a token amount of TP as a reward.

the mimic hunt as far as i know was to replace the ever buggy mabar event but in the future it will also be used for other events with different items.

Mimc hunt wasn't bad for what it was.
    The loot system sucked.
random cards for Mabar items.. meh... not a fan of random.. show me my prize choices and what I need to craft them and I am all over it to get the things I want.. Random just makes me want to go play minecraft until the event is over..

Still waiting for the proper Mabar replacement so I can upgrade the items I have partially crafted,

I think this is a great idea! I don't know how they'd do it without it becoming a thread full of people complaining about other peoples' ideas, but the original concept is solid.

An alternative option could be a single, locked and sticky, post from a dev, asking us to send an email with the following information: item name, item type, theme, story, special ability, (whatever options they wanted to add, but probably not damage numbers, as everyone would want their stuff to be OP) to a specific email address. We wouldn't get to see everyone else's ideas, but at the same time, one person can't say, "They posted the same idea as mine, but with a few tweaks, so I should get credit too!". Make it an official contest. I think that would rock to no end. Again, good idea.

I don't think they have a lack of ideas for items its a lack of dev time to make them so I don't see a need for this in fact it could only make matters worse by drawing dev time away to go through the huge piles of horrible ideas to find something even worth considering at all.
