5000 motes

There is no "report an auction" button on the ASH, is there? Because I would really like to report the auction over 5000 motes of night on the ASAH on Thelanis. Not only that it is a swinde because those motes don't work with the mimic event, but I doubt that anyone has slain 5k shadow dragons. I wrote an GM about it some time ago, but the auction is still up and bothers me every time I see it. If perhaps some other Thelanis players would fill a ticket too? Normaly I am not all torches and pitchforks about such things, but 5000 motes of night.. that's bit to much "right into your face" for me.

Its not seller's fault that buyers can't read and buy wrong motes.

Now.. these are deceptive because they may be confused with the Lost Motes (Mimic Event)

but.. You should get your facts straight.
a 5,000 stack of motes was not hard to get, a lot of people have this many if not more. legitimately.
all this took was time.. a few hours in the event on a good caster would net you a 10k stack of motes.

Motes were earned by killing mobs in the grave yard which then could then be used for upgrades and purchasing stuff from the transaction barter window.

various drops could be traded for motes.

Chipped Skull (generated 4 to 25 Motes) - Unbound
Cursed Fingerbone (generated 15 to 66 Motes) - Unbound

you got more motes if you drank the draught of midnight which pretty much guaranteed motes on every kill.

Motes did not drop in the Dragon fight, Spectral Scales dropped here.
You could buy Spectral scales with 10,000 motes...

Yup, got them confused with the "signet of night" you needed for the mabar tomes. But those were bound and can't be sold. Still shady to sell motes of night.. shady but not against the rules per se.. I get it.

Its player morality you're offended by, not game mechanics. No need for a report button here, unless you want to report Turbine for creating a new currency, naming it similar to an old currency and making the icon similar as well to add to the confusion. If they had named them widgets and had a unique icon for a widget this wouldn't have happened. With Stormreach Fresco tied in for an almost infinite supply of motes, if becomes yet another poorly planned event, now that's something I could report.
