Default Devs, now that orbs aren't treated like shieds, can they stop uncentering monks?

Over the past few patches and updates, orbs have lost bonuses that were granted by shield based feats, enhancements, and epic destiny abilities. Isn't it about time we removed one of the penalties to them as well, especially since they no longer act like shields do for pretty much everything except the auction house?
"Flexo" on the Cannith server (and many others).
What would happen if Pinocchio said "my nose will now grow because I said this."?
If actions speak louder than words, why is the pen mightier than the sword?

And maybe stop metallic Orbs from breaking Druidic Oath while you're at it?
