    Default Combine Wands

I was sitting there going through my inventory when I noticed I had several cure wands of the same type with varying number of charges. It would be awfully convenient if I could toss those wands in a stone of change along with the yellow or purple fragments that don't really get used for anything other than binding gear (and that not very often since everything and its pet cat is bound anymore) and crunch them down into one wand with the combined charges (not to exceed the maximum for the wand of course).

Or you could add Craft Wands as a feat. But I like my first idea better.

This isn't a bad idea, why hasn't something like this already in place?

Yes this would be handy.. haven't seen this request surface again in many years.

Currently everyone just eventually levels beyond wand usefulness and throws them away.

It is too bad wands/rods are so under developed for usefulness at higher levels..
A option to craft or find useful wands beyond level 8 would be nice..

At one point this was something they were working on, with use of something called a Wand Bracelet. No clue why it wasn't implemented. You can still occasionally find wands that have the text about it, like this one (at the top where it says Ingredient Type).

Edit: I guess I am wrong. The Wand Bracelet was actually to use a wand or scroll to turn the bracelet into a clickie. http://ddowiki.com/page/Epic_Wand_Bracelet

Great idea. I honestly can't see any downside to this at all.

Heck, if they think that's OP, I'd settle for it adding half the charges from the 2nd wand to the first. E.g., a 23-charge and an 18-charge combine to 23+(18/2)=32 charges.

like the idea (drag and drop on same wand to move charges) - and have wanted it for years.

Wand Bracelet made it to Lamannia - attach a wand to the bracelet and you could use it like a Potion (don't have to equip) - however there was a fatal bug - once you used the last charge in the want - the bracelet would disappear like the wand.

I also agree with the need for higher level wands. Just like a quick spell pass to let spells scale into the epics (like cat's grace) etc.
