Naming your Pet Wolf

As a newer player to Druid class, I thought I would post this topic here since I don't see anything of the type yet. To rename your Pet Wolf, click C for Character sheet, then at the far left Stats tab there is a button in upper right for Pet, which then brings up your Pet's character sheet. On that Pet character sheet, in upper right is a button "Rename Pet" and you can click there and provide a new name, one-time only.

Here's a website that provides various language references for the word Wolf or wolf-related names, that could help you pick a cool name for your pet:

Hope this helps! I went for "Adalwulf" to give mine an Old High German root name.

LOL To my knowledge Squirtle has never been on your ship, but I will come and make sure he hasn't been misbehaving while I've been busy with Waterssong and not watching him closely. Anything I can do for my friend Gin.

My druid wolf's name is Cujo.

When my completionist, Khrandok, ran his druid and arti lives, the pet was called Khrandog.

I love to see creative pet names - it adds a little humor to my gaming day!

Chewtoy. Seems solid when you see it on the shelf, but disappears ridiculously fast once anything latches on to it. It's a negative tone, but meant with at least a bit of affection.

My arty pet is Shookcranks, an anagram reference to Hermione's cat Crookshanks from the Harry Potter books. The scrambled version popped to mind because it shakes sometimes and and is made of mechanical parts. I am less flippant about my defender since it seems to be about 5 times as durable as the wolves are.

It's funny that the topic is posted today. Just yesterday someone told me my wolf's name was inappropriate. Evidently "Humperlegger" is 'bannable' according to this decency patrol officer lol.

you can buff pets ... they can even use the ship guild buffs
