    Default 1 xp

1 XP for shoveling snow, scaled to one extra XP per level, 28 XP max.
This sounds about right for Minimum Wage in Eberron.

Shovel?!? Bah! I'll use my fire spec'ed sorcerer with the scorch SLA; melt the whole driveway for only 8 sp.

Well, it depends on how much time they spend shoveling.

I was going to write a long, complex system for shoveling experience, but then I realized that that would take too long.

Maybe you should just earn 1 xp per ten seconds of shoveling or something. Up to a limit of course, perhaps based on character level.

You don't get XP for shovelling snow directly, but for defeating the snow elemental summoned by disturbing it - there's bonus XP per snow golem assembled before it arrives.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was, now what's it is weird and scary to me.

    Well.

Bottom-line, it depends on the difficulty of the snow and how many bio breaks one takes.

I got 89 xp/min if we assume that shoveling snow is roughly as long as defeating all three dragons in the Gianthold Tor, and only 23 xp/min if shoveling is as long as completing EE DA. Taking a base rate of 50 xp/min, scale by both the difficulty level, the base level, and add in time spent on non-snow-shoveling activities that don't gain XP for a general formula.

My Elf has no problem moving over snow so why spend time shovelling it?

Either 1xp per flake just like ants, or none, but gather 10K of them into a ball for a free icy burst throwing weapon!

Default How much XP should a player get for shoveling snow?

    Trick question.

    None, of course.

We get xp for hiring the kobold union to do the shoveling for us.

    1. Talk with a Patron to get the
Solo quest "shoveling snow for ..... " House Cannith- House Deneith -House Jorasco -House Kundarak -House Phiarlan -The Twelve -Agents of Argonnessen -The Coin Lords -The Free Agents -The Silver Flame- The Yugoloth -Purple Dragon Knights and The Harpers
    2. By shoveling snow for each fraction for 5 minutes you get :
1000 XP * lvl , + 5 favor with the fraction you are working for
    3. When you have done the quest once for each fraction you get a completion bonus of 1000 Guild Renown or 1000 XP
    4. You are now a Accompliced Snow Worker and will earn 500 Guild Renown / 5 min of work but 0 XP

Otherwise, this is wilderness xp so it is incremental based upon how much is shoveled. Let's base it on Korthos since the world is a village:

    • Shovel 10 lbs of snow: 85 XP
    • Shovel 25 lbs of snow: 127 XP
    • Shovel 50 lbs of snow: 205 XP
    • Shovel 100 lbs of snow: 390 XP
    • Shovel 200 lbs of snow: 775 XP
    • Shovel 400 lbs of snow: 1,585 XP
    • Shovel 750 lbs of snow: 2,895 XP

Useful buffs: resist cold, rage, panacea, vigour
rest shrines have no time limit for re-use
    Love it!

Don't go where the kobolds go
And don't you eat that yellow snow

    (with apologies to Frank Zappa)

..but I think it would be more appropriate if the xp were not incremental, but excremental...
