I've been wondering the same thing. It's pretty sad when even the guy tracking the population leaves the game.

It would have been interesting to see what affect Champions had on the logins.

Champions probably had little effect. The lack of any meaningful content in the last 6 months is more the problem. So we get ToEE in likely another 6 to 8 weeks (if the snow storms would stop!), then likely nothing until July (when they will announce they ran out of time for 4 updates this year), the in October and again nothing until the February after that.

Just not enough to do anymore in game (if you have been around a long time) if you are off the TR hamster wheel.

Such a pity.

For me, it pretty much died when the API stopped working. I always thought it was fun to see the breakdown of how many people had which builds and the like.
