    Default Druid Summoner

    Its anywhere viable?

Its clearly an intention of game that you can use and invest in your companions and summons to help you through the game (augument summoning, druid past lifes).

The question is, they want you use them just for level in low lv content or for epic elites?

If first was true, Primal ED should not have summons enhancements and a summon itself, the Dryad.

Anyone tested an 3 druid past life, augument summoning, buffed, etc Wolf and Dryad to see if is viable way to do dps boost?

Past Life Druid (+6), Augument Summoning (+4), Guild (+3), Magister Grand Summoner (+4) its 17 to all scores, increased health, increased fort (50%), a 40% increase to movement speed, Natural Shielding: +[30/60/100] maximum HP and +[10/20/30] PRR, Bird + Supple as Spring: 4% Dodge, plus buffs.

IIRC, Harper also has some boosts for summons.

Still, sadly, all this is viable as no more than a secondary focus. But it's nice to have.

Better farm that Epic Wolf's Whistle, lol

You can get another +4 to stats from Harper Leadership in the Harper tree. But I don't think what you're listing above can all work together since Magister Grand Summoner is tier 5 and therefore can't be twisted. Unless you're suggesting to run in Magister destiny and twist Dryad, Supple, Natural Shielding and bird. Magister prob not a very good destiny for a druid to run in.

In any event, if you're not wanting to run EE's then you could make a fun summoner flavor build. Druids may be getting an enhancement pass this year so we might see some new things added to boost summons and hopefully some much needed changes to the wolf.

Here are some videos I did of the wolf in EE content: Wolf Kombat, Wolf Kombat 2 and EE Maze of Madness. The first 2 were really just for fun but it does show the wolf soloing an EE orange named mini boss, with no help from me. In those videos I show the wolf gear and buffs (I have 3 druid pl's). This should give you an idea of whether or not you'd want to pursue such a path.

Im definelly anywhere near your gear and past lifes, and i dont have many packs too. I just used wolf and dryad to solo EH Lords of Dust chain and was very ok dmg, dryad hitting ~300 nearly each second more 50 from spikes that she spans too, and i dont have any of the above buffs, even augument summoning or past lifes.

Lets consider that im not spending sp to this 350 dmg each second, i really think that she increase your dps more than span tsunamis at 7 second cd (which hardly hits 2 mobs or any and costs 50sp!), so its more dps effective.

The major concern is of course survivability, that is not good for EE, but in the other hand its not terrible as many here says. They just need to be healed! As any party member, but this usually is forgotten. Be in mind that we can reduce their treat 75% with pack spell.

Since this game is a trade, i just need to know if trade one feat slot and points in Primal ED (nothing that can affect your dps in first 4 tiers tough as caster since storm, tsunami and isidious spores are not that good and very costly), past lives are "free", i still get a good (or better) dps instead as long dryad is alive.
