Paladin/Rough 10/10 for Defensive Roll/Improved Defensive Roll (Broken?)

Hello I in a first life attempt at making a decent tank build, 32pt. I'm revisiting a defesive roll build, i didnt even know they existed until i tried it then checked forums.. so apparently others have done this.

The issue that i'm having is that it doesnt appear that defensive roll is procing.

I have tested this running EE instances where im being hit by the dogs in lords of dust, for 44-50 dmg or so above 50% health. but then when im below 50% health which for me is about 450hp.. im still getting hit for the same 44-50ish dmg.

that's not right because when i block.. i only take like 20dmg.. so defensive proc must not be going off, which is an issue being that i have 96 reflex save..a nd ive let the dogs hit me hundreds of times with the same results.

any thoughts?

Try to switch to light armor it may work like evasion. Did you take the enhancement in the acrobat tree so its procs under 50% health.

If I were you I would have gone 3 wizard to get the EK enhancement which virtually does the same thing. And went 15 levels of pali for the 4th level spells.
