Hrm. Well, my favorite quest to get remnants from is probably anything in the Waterworks.

That's not to say I like the Waterworks, though. I hate the area, so getting remnants is extra fun!

Tear gets my vote for all the orange-named that can be champed. Chest full of loot is easier than trying to find that token in the corpses.

Unless, of course, we get a mysterious chest stuck in the ground.

Belly of the Beast, perhaps? Haven't developed a clear favorite yet.

Let's see...I seemed to get a lot of remnants looting tombs of various shadow whatevers in the Necropolis recently. Now that's not to say they're my favorite quests generally by any means, but the retinue of revenant remnants was relatively rewarding!

I tried in Tear of Dhakaan, but none dropped.

I was trying to farm A Small Problem HE on my lvl 7 fighter/cleric, but it seems like after one run, the amount of champions falls off a cliff. I got over 100 on my first run, recalled out after dealing with the fire elementals, and got a whopping 16 on my next two tries. After that I just went back to normal HE questing, and got another 20 after running four more quests.

I've been focusing on my main character, working out ETRs, and I usually run EH. I have just over 600 in the whole time fragments have been available. Giving us five days to get 10000 seems a little ridiculous.

I do have to say the incentives are fantastic. I never got the cards to score an everlasting Deathward potion, so I was really happy to see that. I find it a highly motivating incentive, if a bit unrealistic of a week-long goal.

I never farmed Mysterious Remnants. But if I did, I would go for Haunted Halls zombies.

This has happened to me twice so far and our party couldn't get the loot.

I don't have a particular favorite quest to collect remnants from, I normally choose quests on the basis of being beneficial to the character I'm running, if there are remnants dropped then that's lucky for me.

EE Devils Assault. It's great when 90% of the vermin keepers are champs. Chests everywhere!

Default My favorite quest to get Mysterious Remnants

Without a doubt it has to be Haunted Halls of Eveningstar on EH or EE! IMHO it's the best quest in the game anyway, and you can just do the main objectives or you can spend a lot of time doing all the optionals. The sheer size of the quest and the number of champions makes it the best place to get remnants! You can farm the zombies forever or not, but you're almost guaranteed at least 20 champions in the whole quest!
