New prizes have been added for a limited time to the Champion Hunters in the Hall of Heroes! Now through February 4th

Collect Mysterious Remnants by defeating Monster Champions in Hard & Elite dungeons throughout DDO, and turn them in to one of the Champion Hunter’s for a selection of rewards! The Champion Hunters can be found in both the Forgotten Realms and Eberron Hall of Heroes.

Can't wait to log in and see what's up for trade...hopefully something worthwhile

Yes and no. This feels disapppointing bordering on insulting.
The prices can be pretty interesting: a cosmetic helm (crown of fire), and eternal flasks of fom, haste, deathward, stoneskin and displacement.
The prices however are insane: they are all 10K EACH!
Now maybe 10K isn't too much considdering the effect (insert standard complaint about eternal flask shared cooldown), but HOW ON EARTH are we supposed to get that many remnants before Februari 4th?? That's like 2000 remnants per day for 5 days in a row!!

Now about 2 weeks ago, I was bored and farmed the first wave of EH DA for remnants with a level 22 toon, generally getting 3-5 chests plus 1-2 lose drops for a total of 6-12 remnants per run. When the farming grew old I moved on to other things, figuring that lion cub would be there next year if I really wanted it (for the curious, there seem to be 2 types of drops, a common one that gives 1d3 remnants, and a rare one that gives 1d10+10).

Based on that experience I think I can confidently say that unless they seriously improved the drop rates, getting 10K motes in 5 days is flat out impossible. Bah. If this is supposed to be a joke, it's a really bad one.

34 in Mired in Kobolds chest drop, if you have an Iconic thats a good quest to try for MRs.
I think hunting for remnants definitely favors TRs vs capped characters. Haunted Halls is nice, but the avg drop on EH seems way lower than heroic elites.

The 10k buyout will be too much for 98% of the people, just inserting for later "toldya quotes".

Haven't logged in yet since I am checking forums from the office...probably won't even get around to playing until tomorrow...but given the facts you just shared, I just lost interest in the event altogether and will just continue on my TR journey to 20 on this life and get ready for next life...

Maybe a few months down the road I might have 10k accumulated.

I'm close. Think 8500 last i looked. I been spending about an hour a day of my time in EE Haunted Halls for the past week. On average I noticed about 800-900 an hour, but have heard of even lower since the amounts are random. Not sure if me having a loot pot running gave me increased amounts in chests or not, but nothing I noticed was more then others. I'm sure if more "dedicated" people spent a lot more time in there, they could get the 10k in a day.

I found 40 one time, but I don't see how anyone can have 10K already unless they play 20+ hours a day every day. When I first the original 10K reward I figured hard core players might get in a few months and others would be able to get the high end rewards by buying Remnants in the store once they are sold there.
