Can't click anything on main screen

I've just re installed on windows 8.1 and I can't click on anything on the main screen or use the keyboard. Anytime I double click the mouse it just opens up the program of an icon on the desktop that is in the same location as where I've clicked on the main screen. So, basically, I've got a situation where the main screen of DDO is showing but all my clicks are going to the desktop.Any help will be appreciated.

Samsung Magician can cause this, basically what is happening is there is an application that is preventing DDO from taking focus (becoming the active window) find which one it is and you should be fine after that.

After trying a few things I found the culprit. Wizmouse was pulling focus.
