I am really excited about warlocks, so I do hope that at least some of the people that get into the player counsel are as enthusiastic about them as I am. I also hope that they either have good knowledge of, or willing to research, what made warlocks both mechanically and thematically unique in PnP.

The main point of the restriction is to limit participation of folks who write about DDO for a commercial entity, in an official journalistic capacity, and would intend to use their time on the Council to get unreleased info.

I'm to assume that Blogs/Fansites/Podcast are included in this.. Just want to double check.. as to me it reads that...

I think that as long as it's not a business, an that you don't start giving out restricted information I suspect it won't be an issue.

Since the Players Council is a group of players who aren't "representing" other players and have no actual authority over what happens with game development I think they should be anonymous. There will always be people who believe that anyone "chosen" by Turbine must be responsible in some way or special in some way or a "fanboy" or whatever. I believe a lot of players like myself will refuse to apply for the Council because they don't want to receive negative attention (more than I already do lol). Since having the names known isn't valuable in anyway, make it anonymous.

Yes Please! And please list heroic & epic quests with same title separately. It would be easier to keep track of what epic quests have or have not been ran.

I disagree. There needs to be transparency.

Mournlands was widly speculated on specifically because DDO only hinted at its existence and then only vaguely referenced players there.

With the PC, you know who is on it and who have at least some idea of them from their forum presence (or lack thereof) and perhaps having met them in game. It gives you a chance to contact them if you want.

Unless you want to deal with a specific forum that shall remain unnamed ( for obvious reasons ) under the same 'forum' name, there is no reason to be harassed.
I don't think any of the 2014 PC member got harassed on the official forums. Now in the Cesspool... it's another matter.

I have been contacted a few time In Game, with some questions regarding specific things when they appeared on Lamania, but I wasn't harassed during the year.
( well except in the Cesspool, but that's another matter, it's a standard feature there. )

We've had members of the blogging community on the 2014 Council, and I'd expect at least some kind of representation on the 2015 Council as well. Frankly, I think it's an important community to have represented.
