I've been away for 2 weeks, but I plan to post for the next raid next Saturday, February 21, at 5pm EST. I wish to post for Deathwyrm this time, as we've done Fire on Thunder Peak successfully twice.

EEraids evening 3:

Temple of the Deathwyrm: gave up after over an hour of lag freezes. I recorded the last freeze before we gave up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJBQ7STiP0A First attempt we got to the 5th puzzle, 2nd attempt we wiped in I believe second or third and then gave up.

Fire on Thunder Peak: Success.

Deathwyrm run 2 success. We had a lagwipe on first try, but second try completed. After, we did one run of Fire on Thunderpeak, also a success... and finished the runs with EE Fall of Truth.

Thanks Micki for the channel invite a few weeks back. Channel drops each time I ER, which is a pain. Currently back to L25 as I move towards Epic completionist. I'll rejoin channel when I hit 27 (briefly) as that is when I get my Orchard gear back and can make a contribution (ie survive) in EE. Actually, I should join tonight as I can manage FoT in the meantime if you post for that.

Your Saturday evening is my Sunday morning (Australia), but I'll keep an eye out for the posts.

I will be posting again this Saturday, the plan is to do EE Deathwyrm, EE Fire on Thunder Peak and a EH Mark of Death. We might attempt and EE MoD if Stitch joins us, but I am a bit hesitant, as we've been quite weak on dps. For MoD the party also needs to know what to do. But we'll see what kind of group I get.

Oh, and I'll prolly post an hour later than last week.. since I'd like to post an my normal time and we haven't changed to daylight saving yet

P.S. Remember to to select your main ED for these raids, and not enter in a leveling ED. Things are much smoother if everyone contributes.

I'm willing to lead an EE MoD if there's interest. In the time I was gone it seems a lot of players have run hundreds of EN runs and are familiar with the raid now. I think an EE MoD will be as easy (or hard) as running EN or EH when it first came out: kill team for archers/mobs, control wiz for beholders, concentrated DPS on death knight phase, everyone know safe spots or alternative plans for infernos, etc. On EN, most of these things can be completely ignored (and often are), but EE would require just a little more attention to the details.

EE will require some key ppl, though. Competent cc for the beholders, ppl able to blind run to side rooms without dying, and enough dps to take out death knights quickly. The longer things take, the more Abbot will start doing inferno, and the more inferno, the more chances for failure. As far as I know, the main difference between eN and EE is that the mobs have a lot more hp on EE.

Saturday 7 was a success. We ran EE Deathwyrm and EE Fire on Thunder Peak.

We have finally changed to daylight saving in Europe, so next Saturday Deathwyrm will be at 2pm EST as previously.

I will try try to make time for some learning runs too, and I need to start working on the MoD runs.

Caught your learning run for Deathwyrm by accident on the weekend. I've now had around 8 straight runs of that raid with no phlogs dropping - I need one more for my teir 3 thunderforged axe. When I saw it was a "learning run" I groaned, as I didn't know how long I had at the keyboard. However, all went well and done in 43 mins; which I reckon is excellent for a learning run! It seemed like you cracked about 6 phylacteries as well.

Once I'm finished on the epic completionist train, I'll be more regularly available for (attempting) EE raids.

I've really noticed how recent updates have made heavy armor charatcers more viable. You had me tanking Augloroasa in the entry corner as usual. I'm only L26 and running in DC during my divine ERs. At one stage I had a bone boy raging on me, but I couldn't see him due to the camera perspective, and it wasn't until Pinkie mentioned it in chat (speaker turned right down) that I realised it was even there! And certainly the dragon wasn't a problem. Previously I used to have to run in Unyielding Sentinel to adequately survive her. Mind you, some ERs certainly help. Anyway, good fun all round!

Well just ran FoT yesterday for my 20th for a chance to get the shield and nothing in the end chest even with alot of people in the runs I did and still nothing. Then tonight did another 20 runs with mostly full people in my runs and on my 40th completion list and still nothing. I've seen MoD drop rates better than FoT. MoD on a 20th list has a list of ALL raid loot but FoT is not a guaranteed list which is complete bullsh*t and aggravating so much it makes my face hurt.

On EE you're guaranteed a phlog. Often I have some ppl passing me theirs too, which I roll off.

I'll try to host more of the learning runs, my problem is that I'm trying to progress several toons, and I don't have a whole lot of time to play, so I've only hosted two learning/ teaching runs so far.

The EEraids continue, we're up in 9 completions on FoTP and 6 on Deathwyrm. The goal is to find ppl for MoD, but for now I'm mainly doing Thunderholme. We did do one EE FoT one week too.

Finally picked up my last shadow dragon phlog on the weekend with an EH PUG. Yay! Yet to build the T3 weapon as about to ER again (only took me 8 days to get the xps this time). Still need 300k xps, but that's an hour or so sprint through my favourite quests (believe it or not, I don't run Von3, WizKing, Spies etc). Last ER for Epic Completionist (no TRs). Also got a completion on EH Fire on Thunder Peak with the same group. But I'll still run Deathwyrm for more phlogs, fun and helping lead guildies when they become eligible.

I'll keep an eye out for the raids once I'm back to about L26 and onwards - the gulf in power is too large until then. At levels 27 and 28, the toon is significantly better off, particularly with Orchard gear. Running in FotW also cripples durability - would much rather be in another ED and using more defense from Stalwart Defender. Last ER in Primal sphere, anyway.

Done a couple of EE FoTs and they are hectic. Looking forward to more of those.
