Does anyone know for sure if master thrower works with shuriken?

I thought I read somewhere that master thrower did not work with shuriken. It doesn't say it on the wiki, but I was sure I read it somewhere. Can anyone confirm that it does work with shuriken?

It didn't for a long time, but it's been fixed and definitely works now.
