Default High Lords will host epic Chronoscope teaching raid on Saturday, Jan 17 at 9pm EST

Our last teaching raid Epic Demon Queen was a big success! CLICK HERE to read about it!

Next in our series of teaching raids will be epic Chronoscope on Saturday, January 17th at 9pm EST!

All events in this series are for players new(er) to the raiding scene or players that are looking to learn raids better. First timers welcome! Dbags not welcome. Please have sound and be willing and able to follow instructions.

The goal is to welcome newer players into the raiding scene, to teach people how raids work, to get players more comfortable with raids, and to enhance the Sarlona community. There is no level cap for any of our teaching raids but you need to be at least level 20 to enter the epic Chronoscope raid.

If you are new to Chronoscope, there is no flagging required! You will need to have access to the Devil Assault adventure pack.

Chronoscope features some really nice low level gear, including Goggles of Time-Sensing, Hellstroke Great Axe, and the Might of the Abishai set (Charged Gauntlets, Boots of Corrosion, Envenomed Cloak, Helm of Frost, Scorched Bracers), which has a 3 and 5-piece set bonus that is nice for melees and casters. All Chronoscope gear can be made epic by collecting the seal, shard and scroll, as well as the base item you want to make epic. All pieces are located within the epic raid.

Usually all spaces are spoken for by the time of the raid, so reserve your spot ahead of time! If you would like to reserve a space in this Saturday's event, please contact me in game on Gingerspyce.

Thanks for all the support and special thanks to DDO Chronicle and DDOCast for mentioning our events. We hope to see you in raids soon!

    Love,
Gingerspyce and The High Lords of Malkier

PS. All are welcome to attend our Tuesday Night Abbotfest (heroic) and our Friday Night Mark of Deathfest. While these events aren't as formal as our teaching raids, we are happy to explain how the raid works to new players.

Thank you, acchh, I can't tell you how disillusioned I was missing last week's by 20 or so minutes.

I have mostly been farming lower and mid level items for my next life, and I ended up running the Shroud on Sunday. What I learned there was that a robe wearing cleric designed in 2009 is wimpy. I am also working on my challenge farmer (Monk thread).

So, I will put on some armor and do the heal bot with the odd bit if damage if I am not using my mana for anything better.

Please count me in, I will msg you in game (it's Viperswhip from youtube).

After which I will TR into a staff wielding Favoured Soul, ya, lol, more robes, I have no decent heavy armors, I will try to farm those with my next character.

It was terrific thank you. Don't forget to talk to the guy in the market place afterwards, Nat something, I got a piece of the set as a reward from him (random list).

I got 77.7k exp from the end reward, my first time doing Chrono, and on Epic Elite with a greater Epic tome.

Added to all the other exp rewards it basically got me 70ish% of level 20, and 15% or so into level 21.

    And it was fun.

    Thanks a lot.

Thanks for coming e1! We had 2 first timers and a couple people that had only done it once or twice! Vision of Destruction and Hound of Xoriat will be this week's teaching raids and I will post details in the forums today!

    Here is the chrono video...
