I cant log in!

Help I'm trying to create a new character but when i try to make him mid creation it spontaneously loses connection to server, please help.

Help I'm trying to create a new character but when i try to make him mid creation it spontaneously loses connection to server, please help.

This seems to be related to the problem most of the people reporting here are having. I could not connect with any character I already created so I went back to make a new one and the game hung every time I got to the Look tab in character creation. Here's what I did to get back in the game.

Go into your firewall settings and add exceptions for:

dndclient.exe
dndlauncher.exe
turbineinvoker.exe
turbinelauncher.exe
TCP/UDP port 2900-2910
TCP/UDP port 9000-9010

Some of these may send you back to the original Dungeons & Dragons Online listing. Now go ahead and make sure to open them up for all networks(home/public/domain) And doing this didn't completely solve the issue, but I then reinstalled using the Play Instantly downloader and I am now in-game.
