Shadar-Kai Int based 2WF hammer stunner+bow/repeating crossbow user 13Rgo/6Rng/1 Art

Greetings to all,

I would like to have your opinion about my build. I used to play with builds created by someone else but this time I felt myself experienced enough to make my own custom toon.

This toon called Kargil. Hes in his 3rd life (1st Ranger, 2nd Ftr). Im gonna build him an Intelligent to-hit/dmg based (via Harper Agent ench.tree) 13Rgo/6Rng/1Art who uses 2 warhammers for melee and can use any bows and repeating crossbows.

Race: Shadar-Kai --> 1st lvl must be Rgo, extra feat at lvl 1.
6 Ranger: granted feats as: 1st Favored Enemy, Wild Empathy, Bow Strength,Rapid Shot, Two Weapon Fighting, Diehard, Precise Shot, 2nd Favored Enemy, Manyshot, Improved Two Weapon Fighting
13 Rogue: sneak attk die +7d6, improved Uncanny Dodge, 2x special ability(improved evasion for example + 1 for your own choice).
1 Art: can use x-bows

Skills: I went for max umd, search, spot, heal, disable device, open lock and some hide, move silently, jump, balance, bluff and a little haggle.

In the enhancemet trees I go mostly for extra sneak attack die, tempest and of course had to spend some points in the Harper Agent tree for the int based to-hit/dmg (for melee and ranged too)
At the moment he's just at lvl 16, so I dont know how will it work on epic levels. But im planning to run around with him in Shadowdancer epic destiny. Twisted feats: cocoon for some self healing, sense of weakness for extra dmg and 3rd can be anything.

Because he is a shadar-kai, I levelled him all the 6 Rng and 1 Arti in the first 15 lvls. After it I just need to level him as a Rgo.


Items: got some nice item for epic lvls (flawless black dragon armor+helmet, epic goggles of time sensing) but I think this build needs other items I havent got at the moment.

So this build works well in heroic elite quests (untill now lol) and playing it is very fun because hes a great dps dealer with melee and with ranged too. Can use any weapons (except exotic types) any bow or crossbow. Got Evasion and improved Uncanny Dodge, Haste boost. This build is created for my playstyle and my most important need is to have fun and not to be perfect.



Im looking forward to get any ideas, improvements or opinions about this.

I use warhammers for this build. On heroic levels Nightforged hammer(great dps), Earthshatter(petrifiing+rock shatter) and/or Cormyrian Warhammer with paralyse which does mass paralise very well

As I write it above this is my 1st own build so it has got some weaknesses. More HP would be better. On epic lvl 22 got around 480. Dps is very good.
A bit helps that Uncanny Dodge and Shadowdancer gives extra defence (shadowform, Improved Invisibility).

Intelligence is at 47 at the moment but can be higher(around 55-60). Int gives to hit, dmg bonus and reflex saves so its important to push it as high as I can.

Items:

I do not have the proper equipment yet, but Im on it. What I have for lvl 25 is a flwless black dragon armor set. +3 insightful Int web trinket, epic goggles of time sensing. A house of dun robar ring with +10stunning would be great to posses. Got no idea for the other items it will come into my mind during game

Looks like a great build. I was curious though on how to get paralysis on the Nightforged Warhammer. I know it has a red argument slot, but have not seen a ruby with paralysis power.

I think that's a typo and OP meant "Cormyrian Warhammer with paralyse" like he said the first time. AFAIK, there's no way of adding Paralyzing to any weapon. [EDIT: apart from AA Paralyzing Arrows w/bows, ofc.] Unfortunately, he hasn't been back on the forums since January, so we probably won't get a clarification anytime soon.

Note that this build predates U25 so by heavily MCing you miss out on the big DPS bonuses from rog 18+ (Lethality + Expert Builder).

Thanks for the reply. Never tried the Cormyrian crafting before and only had enough ingredients to make one item, but for once got lucky and got a paralyzing and disintegration weapon on the first try. Hopefully I can get a Life Stealing on the second try
