Looking for some up-to-date Solo Friendly Builds

Hi everyone, thanks for your help!

I'm VIP, have all races and classes, 32 point builds, level 4 vet bonus, no other bonuses that I can think of (no past lives, etc).

I keep trying to roll some of the builds I see here, with mixed successes - all of them do okay in normals, most of them do okay in hard, but one random acid rain in elite and I'm toast.

I understand, a 1st lifer on Elite is going to have a bad time soloing.

What I guess I'm after is a melee build, can be with or without trapping (although I probably need it for soloing, I know). Either Rogue/Ftr/Bard or Monk based? Both to look at would be cool. The big thing is a lot of builds I look at are older, and I don't know if they take all of the newer updates into account, and I don't want to skip over anything important.

I've read through a lot of posts here, on the forum that must not be named, and talked to people on Reddit. What I'm mostly noticing is a lot of these builds don't really come into their own until later levels, and that's fine, I would just like to play something that feels identifiable from level 4. If that won't work, that's fine.

I still enjoy Thanimal's Quad H build, you can find it here. It's a bit dated but I use the exact same level split with updated enhancements. You end up with more healing than I've ever been able to go through, even without shrining. And soloability? Plenty. I've done Cult of the Six (the entire chain) on elite at level 8.

Another great solo build is the basic WF Sorc. Pure build, I usually go with air first and switch to earth at later levels.

And then, of course, there's the DDO easy button. Aka Pure WF Artificer. Not much use in epics (in my experience anyways), but in heroics you can pretty much face roll your way from one to twenty.

I actually really think I enjoy that one. I tested the dragonmark, and healed for 40 hp. Thanks!

Well if you did Cetus's build with a Bladeforged you are VERY self sufficient and it is very survivable all the way through 28. EN/EH is easy to solo with this build with just good gear...no raid gear. With raid gear it becomes very EE capable and it kills FAST. It starts at lvl 15 being Iconic.

The other option is a Halfling 6Monk/12Rogue/2Fighter - A VERY powerful build for heroics and can easily solo HE content. In Epic levels it falls off without REALLY good gear. If your main concern is Heroic I love this build and would be happy to help with it. Staff acrobat is high DPS in heroics plus you can trap and have insane reflex + evasion
