Good evening Kent,
I've read through a ton of your builds and to be honest, I don't understand most of them. Mainly because I'm not familiar with D&D (outside of Baldur's Gate I and II as well as Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2).
I've come back to DDO after a long absence, I believe it's been about 9 years.
I remember really enjoying my monk (level 12) I tried to play him and found myself lost. I have a +20 Lesser Heartwood(?) Reincarnation item where I can re-level my Monk. I don't want to change his class if I do this though.
He's Halfling because I like shorter characters. He's a Light Monk because I wanted to be able to heal myself (soloing!). I love a character who can run around, jump in, kick ass and survive. I just don't really know what I'm doing with his levels. I saw your build on Update 40 for a Halfling Monk. I already reincarnated once and used that build. Tried it and found I really have no idea what levels to take which enhancements. And to be frank, I don't remember how to play monk! I can figure how to play him, I really could use pointers on what levels to take which enhancements, also is this build meant to sneak up on things for strong openers? Should I be focusing on stealth?

In most MMO's I tend to play a tank. I've been thinking pure paladin as I would like to be able to solo and a holy warrior seems like a solid way to do that. I'm not sure how viable that is. If it's more viable than a halfling monk, I would enjoy that instead.
Lastly, I love the idea of being a DoT based mage, more a sorc than a wiz. I'm not sure if that's a thing. The idea of a caster of magic from pure will is very appealing. The old EQ Necromancer is one of my favorite DoT classes that I've ever played. Is that viable?
Restrictions:
I do have VIP. I have 32pt builds. I don't have Artificer, Sharn, or the iconic classes, I also am lacking any past lives. I don't believe there is anything else I'm lacking but I could be mistaken.
There is no need to cover all three classes, I would love to know about the monk and then either the mage or the paladin. Or feel free to tell me I'm being to specific and should loosen up my expectations.
Thank you so much for you time, even if you don't end up getting to these. People like you are what keep gaming communities going.
