So I'd like to make a request if you're still doing those. I think it's a pretty simple one but I just want a good idea of what I'm looking to do and when. I used to play a lot and getting back into it and am wanting to do an Artificer. I've seen a lot about splashing 5 levels of rogue for mechanic but I'm not sure how most of the late game stuff works. Mostly wanting to know the enhancements I should pick up and if I should just be picking up the 5 levels of rogue at 15 Art or picking them up closer to the beginning or what.

you said you could Tomes so keep in mind you need +3 Dex before lev 17 for IPS. Any Int tome would be nice but not necessary
So I did not pick all the spells just the must haves. I still think you should get the alignment and metal bypass in your spellbook to switch in when needed if you don't have the xbow for it.
I really like this build that being said warforged dose have its merits, better healing, the AP to get SLA lightning Sphere and better crits and damage on Electric spells, but less Int so lower DCs and hit & damage with your xbow loss of feat to get Mithral Body and the nice bump to to damage and Critical Threat Range with light repeating crossbows in the gnome tree.
