    Sorry must of been 1/2 asleep when I did that I know that they are exclusive don't know what i was thinking if fixed the build and edited it.
    Ya I would not go fay even if misty is nice and it is but Sonic spell power is derived from the perform skill not Spellcraft and with out bard you can't max it out In this build i was thinking Great old one but Fiend would be fine

    Thanks, I appreciate you taking the time to update it. Looks pretty sweet, force of personality is definitely a good fit with the feats freed up by nixing THF.

    Currently it is running in Divine Crusader, and between aura of purification, critical hits, and the eldritch aura, purification stacks up very quickly, and Castigation adds a nice amount of additional damage to your passive AoE damage.
    However it also runs very well in LD and Fury (in fact it was originally built with Fury in mind).
    I currently have 1 heroic life (Sorcerer) and 5 EPLs (3 divine, 1 primal, 1 martial).
    Before buffs and metamagics, light spell power sits at around 450 (at level 30). This could certainly be improved with some feat tweaks, additional past lives and some adjusted AP, but the build performs very well as it is.
    In most epic quests I can keep full or nearly full stacks of both Arcane Warrior buffs, Empyrian Magic and Celestial Champion just from my aura, normal melee combat, and the two warlock cleaves.

    In terms of weapons, I use shortswords, but any swashbuckler weapon would be fine. Spell powers to concentrate on are light, sonic and positive. Lantern Ring and Epic Blasting Chime are both good gear choices for this build.

    Default Bard wiz rogue

    I would love a first life harper int bard wiz rogue..can it be a freeze bard type..also a non harper build with +2 tomes ..non iconic for first build and any race but wf for second..Ty so much..want skirmisher used..like evasion n traps also..surprise me good sir

    A few ?'s first is the first build 28 or 32 point build and the 2nd build what pass lives do you have you said he has +2 tomes across the board so I figure at lest one.

    32 point build..and the toon is 7 the lvl and has a few hearts to use..used the tomes already..right now is a rogue 7th lvl..hang been played in 2 years

    if the plane is to use a heart then need your race you can not change that or your alignment barring the use of a alignment tome.

    Default Hermit Witch build

    Hi Kent,
    First I love the creativity of your builds.
    I am looking for a classic witch build. Based on the hermit Witch in the Wild (woods, cave etc), into herbalisim, poisons and ritual magic. I would like it to be a caster, but I leave the creativity up to you. My only real req is that can solo. I have access to 32pt buld and all races and classes.

    Default BF paly/sorc help?

    Hi, Kent!

    I wish I had found this thread when I started playing DDO. Not only do your builds look airtight, I particularly like the guidance you offer with respect to play-style and, sometimes, equipment. I am writing for your help. I unlocked BF and went with an 18/2 (sorc/paly). I almost always play alone, but sometimes play with two or three other friends. I just passed my first epic level (Draconic Incarnation) but I feel like I am missing something. This combo should have good synergy and survivability but, particularly in epic content, I find myself with lackluster damage and many up-close views of the dungeon floor (death). My gear is ok, but I'm not a skilled crafter that can make ultimate stuff. It's a first lifer that was a Fire Savant, but everything seems to be immune to fire in epic.

    Could I humbly ask for a build (and whatever suggestions that you are kindly inclined to offer!) for this 18/2 bladeforged so that I can start swapping feats/enhancements/gear? As I said, I mostly solo but would like to contribute "sorcerer-like" damage when I group with my friends. (They're great guys, but I'm growing tired of hearing "Don't you have an incandescent version of the LED meteor swarm you're casting?" or, "Hey, look! My wizard can shoot a bow for more damage than Tom's robot!"

    Please help! THANKS!!!!!!

    So the best fix is if you have one of those free +5 hearts they gave out or willing to use at lest a +2 to get 2 levs of Fav to go with the "BF Blaster (Shiradi Caster) : 2 Pal / 16 Sorc / 2 Fav" on page 5 if not give me your tomes if any and tell me when you take your 2nd pal lev and will post a build with out the Fav levs. will get you in to heavy armor and going Shiradi Caster gets you lots of spell damage that is not just fire which helps with all those fire resesance mob and gets a lot more damage/SP spent

    Thanks, Kent! I really appreciate your quick reply! I loved that build when I was reading through the pages leading up to my request, but was (and am) unclear about these Hearts of Wood and rebirthing in general. Is it different for iconics? And why would I need a +5 if I only need to acquire two FvS levels? (I hope you'll please pardon the noob questions. I've played the table-top version almost since its creation - 35+ years? - and I joined the DDO community in 2010, but I haven't really had the chance to play regularly until recently.) Also, how does one get to the Shiradi Champion tree? It looks like I have to hop through a few other trees to get there. Is there an easier way? D'oh, one more question! Sorry! Are the FvS levels just for getting a supply of spell points? I'll miss those last sorc spells!

    Good to help a fellow PnP gamer you got me beat there I only DMed D&D for 25 years on and off started with the old red box with the paper back books and my favorite setting was Spell Jammer because anything could happen in that one even converted it to 3.5 when my play group made the switch. I have been playing DDO for 9 years. To answer your question I only mentioned the +5 heart because they gave 2 out for free recently if you have to buy one a +2 will do. as far as lesser reincarnating goes it works the same for iconics the True reincarnating is the one that is different for them in that you have to go to max lev to do it and not 20. As to the Fav levs it is not just for the SPs you get for crit you also get 41 spell power, +4% to crit, and with that build in Shiradi i would never cast Meteor Swarm when you will get more damage with MM. That being said I am up dating that build post for lev 30 now but if you want me to do the same kind of thing with out the fav levs let me know
    One more thing yes getting through the other ED trees will suck but the pay off will be worth it.

    Well met, Kent! I started with the Chainmail, Greyhawk, etc. set. Good times! Now that I think of it, there was a "Kent" in our notefile game back in the day. Probably from U Maryland iirc.

    Anyway, thanks yet again for the sage advice. I have read some more this afternoon and I have a tentative plan - a plan that will follow your build to the letter - but if you have time to entertain a few more clarification questions... 1) Is there a specific reason that you chose the Fire Savant enhancements as opposed to any other Savant? We're getting damage from missiles in the this plan, right? 2) Extend spell feat? 3) Since I'm in the Draconic destiny now, will I have the chance to select Fatesinger after I reincarnate? will I have any points to spend in the tree or are they zeroed out? 4) Should I pick up impulse-enhancing gear or does that matter since the damage is coming from procs?

    Here's the plan: 1) +2 heart and build as you suggest. 2) Select Fatespinner and use a "key" to hop over to Shadow Dancer, go up three levels. 3) Hop to Legendary Dreadnought, go up four levels. 4) Open Shiradi Champion.

When people who make questionable decisions come to me to learn how to make better decisions and then turn around and make the same bad decisions, it's always a head-scratcher! (Especially with how much I charge!) LOL I've gone to a pro - I'll use the pro's advice!

    1. Yes it synergises with the fav levs as Angel of Vengeance boost fire and force & yes we get lots of proc damage from MM,CM but your fire still plays a big part in your DPS not everything is resistant.
    2. Dam was supposed to be enlarge miss click. I fixed it should be ashamed I do quality control in RL
    3. You will only be able to go to Fatesinger if you are now at least level 3 Draconic Incarnation you keep all you XP in Epic Destinies when you LR and TR in your next life when you hit 20 you still have access you all you unlocked in previous lives which is nice you will need those Destinie levs for fate points (1/3 levs) so you can twist in powers
    4. Yes you will be throwing a lot of it so it is nice if it can add to the damage but most important is the crit chance for SP recoop

    P.S. Maybe I should charge so people think my advice is worth listening to

    You da man! Thanks! OK - I'm building it in another screen and... At level 1, I can't select the feat "Spell Focus: Evocation". Should I take first level in Sorc? *ugh*!
