Thanks Kent, i really don't have time to try so much builds and seen like this bard will let me experiment to a an extend what a Bard is capable of.

If you willing to a answer some question, you guys here never seen to get dodge line of feats, is it because it's easy to get dodge by enchantments? Or it's because as a feat they are lackluster? Is it worth getting them on other classes?

    Thanks again!
Well in some builds I do use the dodge line of feats you see in some enhancement trees you need it to get other +'s to dodge or as a prerequisite to other feats, and in light armor or robes I like to hit at least 20% dodge but in this build you get 10% from just having a buckler in your hand and 3% from On Your Toes and you can get at least a 9% item so you get over 20%

I don't really have much in Epic trees as this toon is still newish.

The Pact choice was Fey because I think the sonic goes well with bard

She is lvl 21 atm but definitely a work in progress.

Hoping for your take on this build to compare it to what Im running
So I found your leveling order on your other post do you want me to use that or just use your split to build what i would with it

    Default PDK Warlock

So I built your PDK warlock, with a few tweaks to take advantage of my different tomes, but I have a question for that build, and warlocks in particular.

Why buy Empower and Maximize? I havent found a single spell of effect that either of these feats influence, notably, including the warlock main blast.

I use only Maximize and Quicken on the 2 burst from ES (Eldritch and Spirit) and on Evards.

Your plan here is sound for now "Divine Crusader" don't see what you twist posted would go with
    - Legendary Shield Mastery
    - Rejuvenation Cocoon
    - Radiant power
When you get to level 26 and get Perfect Single Weapon Fighting I would go with Fury of the Wild you see with PSWF getting you vorpal on 19-20 and the Att speed of SWF & Fury Eternal (Whenever you land a Vorpal Strike on a melee attack, 33% chance to regain 1 Adrenaline use) you have a seamlessly endless supply of Adrenaline Overload (By consuming 1 Adrenaline use, your next melee or ranged attack will deal +400% damage, increase your critical threat range by 16 and you are considered raged until your next attack)
    Twist: the same as above

P.S. I used your leveling order for this one if you want I can put together a build with same classes but With slightly different split that I think could work better putting Bard freezing Atts in the mix love that freezing but its not for everyone and want it to be played the way you want it. So let me know what you think.

Default The reason for Empower and Maximize

As DaggomaticDwarf said "burst damage" and the best part is it is free just right click on your Eldritch Burst & Spirit Blast to toggle them on for just them and watch the Damage go up to happy hights

    Default Frozen Fury

Yeah I so wanted to mix in frozen fury but in description, it say 1 sec per bard lvl so 3 sec didn't seem like a lot for the AP investment.

As for the leveling order, feel free to change it up. I just did it off the top of my head.

Ya 3 sec is to low but 6-8 sec is for ever as far as they know because there dead what I was saying I could make a a build close to this one but with a different Split if you want, but for what you got here the one posted is the way to go IMO. What do you think of my take on your Split ?

Yeah having a blast with her, running Sentinel atm. She has some good survivability.

I need more lives both Epic PLs and Heroic PLs

Hey thanks for looking at my build and for your suggestions, I really needed the fine tuning.

In addition, as long as your Charisma remains higher than your Strength and you are wielding one of the above weapons, you receive a bonus to the DCs of your Tactical Feats equal to 1/3 your Charisma modifier. Which is how your freezing and stunning DC's get so high. stunning shield works what ever your highest stat is and freezing also works off Cha and both now get 133% of your Cha mod. .
If my DC of my tactical feats are 1/3 of my charisma modifier, should I max Charisma and make Str almost a dump stat? I am confused on the str vs charisma and dps? I guess I am having a hard time understanding how charisma will give me DPS over str. Also, is there a charisma to dmg enhancement for this? Sorry to be a pain. just trying to understand.

Cormyrean Knight Training allow you to use either Str or Cha for both attacks and damage.

I don't totally dump str but I might put like 1 or 2 points into it depending on tome or other pres you need to qualify for

Default Looking for help Arcane caster of some kind (but I don't have warlock)

I have asked a few places for advice for a caster to get me going with Arcanes.

I have a few past lives (and have a couple of epics) but have never played a caster. Now I don't really have a lot of gear for it but figured it was time to find out how I like it first.

I would consider bard, but prob sorcerer. I was thinking of looking at using acid (earth) and something else based spells (water/ice) (not so sure about fire, seems many do that). I don't really know what school work well together and am not to keen on just spamming MM but the maybe what I am forced to do (I would like to be somewhat viable in epics).

I don't have any store of scrolls so thought that may make Wiz more difficult?

Any race would be ok, although I don't really like the idea of running around as a robot. The changes coming with U29 seem to help but I don't see any builds or threads saying that Arcanes (excepting warlock) are going to be that much better after U29.

Past lives are only ranger, rogue, monk and barb so not too useful for arcane live. I guess I may just have to start with some lives in heroic to build me up. I guess I could do an iconic ?

Well I will post this and see if you have some creative ideas?

    Thanks for this thread anyway.

Like DaggomaticDwarf said "Cormyrean Knight Training allow you to use either Str or Cha for both attacks and damage."
So your build i just put 1 point into str so with your +5 tome at level 15 you had 13 str for power attack for more damage & at lev 18 you could get Cleave and get the most out of LD in epics.
    Brake down: base 10 + Charisma modifier {Say 36 cha ez to get could be better}(13) + one-half Bard Level (4) + Stunning modifiers + (10) {stunning weapon or other stunning Item Epic Buckler of the Demonic Soldier gives +12} + (5)Exceptional Combat Mastery {I get the Spare Hand Belt} + (2) {from Brutality in Vanguard tree} + (4) {Cormyrean Knight Training 1/3 your Cha mod agen could be better as you mod goes up} + (6){Legendary Tactics from Legendary Dreadnought}
    Freezing DC = 10+13+4+10+5+2+4+6=54
    Stunning Shield: {Same as above but full character level so + 28 not + 4} 54 + 24 = 78
Could put them over 60 & 80 with better cha tome, Cha Item, better stunning item all of these could get better just gave you a ez example

Default Well before I make another one look at this skorpeon

Well DPS casting has been working fine long before warlock came along the thing is it has not changed much lately so the FOTM players have moved on but it still can kick butt. As far as running around as a robot well that just makes self healing easier. The reason people go fire is the synergy between the fire Savant tree and the Angel of Vengeance tree both giving +'s to fire dam, crit and temp SP for casting fire spells. The Angel of Vengeance tree also gives temp SP and damage for Physical damage spells (force) which all plays in to Shiradi Champion procs with every MM getting its own chance to get added effects thus the spamming of MM you see.
That being said the "Fire Storm Sorc/Fav/Paly" found on page 1 of this thread is still viable if you like I can go over it and see if it needs any tweaking it is a first life DPS caster I ran and was great right through Epics oh and it is not a robot.
If being a robot is not to big a deal breaker then on page 5 is "BF Blaster (Shiradi Caster)"
If willing to go robot and really spam MM there is a build I found that I wish I could take credit for that I tweaked a little for myself but have not posted it.
If you still want to go ACID could build one but, it will not be as good as fire sorry it is just the way it is with all the synergy that can be found for it

Default Any good ideas for a easier completionist track?

Hey Kent, some interesting builds here. I got a toon working on all the different past lives. I"m also trying to grab some iconics along the way. I have past lives of wiz, sorc, ranger, barb, monk, druid and I'm currently an 8 pali/ 6 fig / 6 monk pdk weilding a quarterstaff. I have 3 epic pl in primal (colors), martial (doublestrike) and divine (brace) and about to finish my second arcane (enchanted weapon). As off right now I'm planning on following up this life with the "Zues build" and then maybe switching to a centered kensai for fighter. I have all +4 tomes except for str where I have a +5. My question would be if you have any interesting ideas for the remaining classes (fvs, cleric, arti, warlock, and bard) that would incorporate the different iconic races. I don't need them to be thf staff builds. i wish we were a bit further away from update 29 to be leveling Iconics but I guess it is what it is. I'm not asking for 5 different builds, maybe just one that would be somewhat self sufficient and survivable in higher level quests. Thanks

Thanks for making it clear for me.

I think this sounds good, if you are able to have a look at it and see if there are tweeks to be made. I have pre lives of Ranger, monk, barb (epic PL primal (colours) and martial (skills), if this helps at all with the build.

Let me know if there is any gear I really should get before pushing TR button.

Added: I was looking at a post in another thread by unbongwah and he mentioned the returns for the paladin levels have diminished. So maybe more Sorc/Fav and have more MM power, with a few fire spells. I have been reading up in the wiki on the basics on Sorc's so feel a bit better informed. Actually gives a whole new fresh out look on the game which is mind blowing when I think how long I have actually played this game (admittedly on a pretty casual basis (although I bet my wife does not agree)).

OK skorpeon I went over the build and glad I did after playing it learned some things and changed the leveling order taking pally at the end don't really need the big bump to saves until epics the rest was all miner things and I reposted it with some helpful notes. As far as gear fire & force spell power and crit items. The Libram of Silver Magic from The Haunted Halls of Eveningstar, Miior or Dragon chest is a must have IMO
As my toon was first life would use your extra stat points in INT for better reflex saves and to max out your diplo for Tier 5 Shiradi Audience with the Queen

Added: Dam missed your "Added:" lol ok let me see
well he is right you where able to get your whole Cha mod to you saves now it is capped at 2+(3*paladin level). so you only will get + 8 to all saves with 2 levels of pally still IMO worth it.
if you still want it with no pally will work that up so let me know

P.S.wy wife plays with me and gets mad when I logoff when she still want to play lol
