    ok yes khopesh would work in fact so would Dwarven War Axes. Bastard Sword is left over from my sword & board line of thought in that if useing one wep make it a good one lol & hand&1/2 weps {Dwarven War Axes, Bastard Sword} get glancing blows if used with Shield and those can be improved with the THF line of feats. In fact if you did not state the need for stopping power and even say trip as one of them I would of taken THF & ITHF and not Combat Expertise & Improved Trip but don't get me wrong having 3 interrupts {Stunning Shield, Stunning Blow, and trip} all on rotation is a good thing. In fact you can still go that way but would lose the op to tank up, Combat Expertise +10% ac, improved Combat Expertise +20 PRR, and 4 to your trip DC but then I would run in Fury of the Wild to really get those glancing blows going and twist Legendary Tactics.

    Question Cleric/LightMonk Build request

    Hi! I'm looking for a monk build for my next life... I'm not really particular about the classes or the specificities, but I'd like to go light path and have good self healing. I've seen someone run with cleric/monk and do really well, but I never found a spec that good anywhere. I would like it to have pretty good survival... good HP and stuff. But the main idea is to have decent damage. Other than that, I don't mind!

    Here's what I have.

    36 pts build

    Past lifes:
    Cleric x1
    Sorcerer x1
    Bard x1

    Tomes:
    +2 for all stats

    I don't have Iconic races.

    VIP status (So I have the extra races and harper tree)

    Ok so PSWF for feat at lev 26 not in planer yet
    Most clunks go stuning fist and a lot of them out there so you don't need me to feed you another one. This build will hit harder and faster. Wind stance melee speed & SWF speed stack but speed items don't stack with Wind stance so at lower levs run in wind then when you can get good speed items at higher levs switch to Mountain for better durability which is much needed & better crits on 19+20. Will run in GMOF or LD just as good unlike hand-rap builds
    With your Cleric lev 7 you get FOM & death ward with just enough umd to scroll Raise dead

    I know there are some 1500 dam crits in there but will hit for 2000-3000 on 19-20 Adrenaline Overload crits :}

    this toon is just a 1st life so looking forward to seeing him after some more TRing

    Hey Kent..I was just wondering if you could come up with a build for a caster, with a blaster archetype but with max or just a lot of survivability. Hope that makes sense. I'm just getting back in to ddo and having trouble coming up with builds....thanks man

    play stile is important with this build to get lasting SPs open up with Magic missile or scorching ray on single targets or chain missile on mobs to get the temp SP from your enhancements then your SLA fire ball or scorch depending on range then regular Fire ball, delayed blast or force missile then repeat this is a good place to start as you get the feel of your sp recoup you can change it up as you see fit. If the mob is big and in close quarters a fire wall will also be a good source of temp SPs to help spam spells
    Always have maximize, empower, and enlarge spell set on for your spell like abilities from Fire Savant as it is free {right click on SLA on hot bar and set each on to always on}. Once you get Shiradi procs enlarge on MM & CM for those nice long range Shiradi procs.
    Epic Destinies:
    Get to Shiradi Champion soon as you can for the all the nice spell procs. This build will work in Draconic Incarnation but better in Shiradi Champion

    this is what I think is best but will take some time getting the fate points to get all of it so use what ever you can until unlocked

    Note: I fixed this for Galldune in game sorry forgot to fix post since you start lev 15 in this build just take Mental Toughness at 1 and move all feats up one.

    hey there kent, was wandering if u could put a build 2gether for me, i'm only premium so i hav access 2 the races: human, elf, dwarf, half-elf, and drow, the classes: ftr, barb, pally, monk, sorc, clr, wiz, fvs, ranger, rog, and bard. wat im wanting is a self-healing dps monk, that has every buff i would want, like blur, haste, GH, and all that good stuff. i hav no past lives nor any tomes atm. thank you

Then you can still use Aligning the Heavens Combination: Water-light- Water 10 Ki. You & nearby allies gain a 25% reduction in spell point costs for 60 seconds. This is a favorite move asked by experienced spell casters before buffing others at the start of a quest.

    P.S. Hope this is what you where looking for. If not tell me why and will rebuild with your input.
    P.P.S if you where not hung up on needing GH have build that just goes 6 wiz, so up to Displacement and Haste and no undead pos healing with 4 levs of Cleric & 10 monk. Saying this not to knock this build it looks so good I mite TR my vamp monk from above into it. It's just I had another thought as I was making this one. :}

    now i do have a couple questions tho, wouldnt it be better dps if it was a str build rather then stunning? cuz only having 6 lvls of monk and 22 wis i wouldnt think the DC on stunning fist would be high enough end game even with +10 stunning wraps. and as for the 2nd build, wat is the point of 4 clr? looked on the character planner and 4 lvls of clr doesnt give me any spells i couldnt live without or easily find clickies for, and i would think lvl 12 necro would give me better self-healing then lvl 4 clr. and again thank you for spending your time working on this build

    stunning fist works off total level and for the 4 clr levs in other build "Ameliorating Strike" is the reason and it also works off total lev not class lev it matched with max monk healing amp and fist of light healing shield is vary good self healing used it with much susses and then add Rejuvenation Cocoon in epic levs but if you like str builds the 4 clr 6 wiz 10 monk is one and not stunning it uses short swords for drow god wep + in war priest and centered monk

    so yes my guild has gone 3 ways with it so far to see what you can do learned a lot so I need to know what kind of melee you want SWF, THF, TWF, tank, dps. with or with out traps and so on what races you have 1st life or more if so what lives and what tomes if any. I will make the best build I can for what you want.
