I have seen this vid before IMO not a bad build
Well first PDK gets him to lev 15 to start, free feat as human, damage boost, and heal amp all the same as human but you start at level 15. Next handwraps are a must for stunning fist which stops them from hitting you and when stunned you get all that SA that this build has stacked up.
Finally you say you are lev13 so you want to LR with a "road map" what is your level progression so far I will need that to to do the build without you usinig a heart with some +'s on it. I will need your list of tomes if any.

ok but need to know at what lev you got what class it may come in to play for BAB, or when stat tome gets activated needed for feats to get this info if you don't remember just go to fred and pull feats to the change box and it will tell you what lev of what you where when you got that feat and you can figure it out that way

Ok I cant recall at what level I took each class. What I learned from Fred (thanks for this tip) was the following: at lvl 3: Rog - Wep Finesse, lvl 6: Monk - Precision & Path of Harmonious Fist, Lvl 9: Monk - Imp TWF & Toughness, Lvl 11: Fgtr - Spring Att, Lvl 12: Rog - Master of Forms. Seems kinda screwed up but thats what Fred is telling me. Hope it makes sense and helps? Thank you.
So with what you told me this should do it but one lev of monk could be where one lev of rouge is this should not make much of a diff just remember to get the right skills in. (ie: switch the skills for those two levels)

1. That is max base skills for them it is not counting stat items and skill items. Bluff item would where all the time for improved feint trap skill items would switch to as needed umd should be fine with good Cha argument slotted. As for jump well that is always good to have, tumble should get high enough to back flip good for getting out of middle of mobs, heal will get you more pos spell power for Rejuvenation Cocoon, Renewal and light light light finisher from Fists of Light your main heals.
2. Weapon finesse works with wraps and your dex will be higher than str you need 21 base dex for epic SA feat and that build is all about the SA, and it is taken as a monk feat and there is nothing else for you there... deflect arrows maybe but he did not have it in his build that I could see it looked like he got toughness there but I think that is a waste even if finesse would only get him +2 looking at his stats that is still better than toughness but you could go his way but I always try to improve builds I see. Sorry I should've said that so saying now but all else is as he has it from what I can see from the vid I paused it many, many times to get it right for you

When I equip my hand wraps it says "This item can use dex for damage" or something like that. If this is the case, and my ex is the higher of the stat and I can dedicate more resources to building one stat rather than 2. Wouldnt it make sense to just pump wisd and dex? Im a bit confused I think. Thank you

The exact wording is : "Dexterity to Damage: This weapon can use Dexterity for damage." Do you think its an oversight of the advanced ninja training? showing it converts dex to damage because it can be used while remaining centered but not taking into account that its not a piercing or slashing type weapon? Or Dagger in the back which clearly states that it does not apply to wraps but may be a tool tip bug? Wep finesse tool tip also says it is applied while "unarmed" arent wraps considered unarmed wep types? Thanks for helping me figure this out.
I did some target dummy testing and, sure enough, with +6 dex gloves equipped I was doing anywhere from 8-17 damage, then switching them out for str +6 gloves the damage went to 10-20. So question answered... but mystery remains, as to why tool tip says dex to damage on any wrap I equip. Cheers.

Hello so pretty new, I kinda want to play a monk but am kinda worried about what people say about their viability. I play with 2 other people and currently we are running through our first lives, I am about to TR with them and really want to do a monk type build. I was thinking an unarmed monk would be pretty awesome but open to variant builds like INT based or shortsword, kama etc.
I have a +5 supreme tome and it'll be a 34 point build and will have a bard past life (Doing a monte cristo type character atm). They are likely going to be playing a acrobat and a thf barbarian type character. So I think that going light monk for better synergy would be a good idea? But yeah basically I'd like to be pretty sturdy and work well in the trio but have the ability to solo, willing to sacrifice dps for that.
Also been reading about possible Fighter/monk builds due to favored weapons, how viable are those also? I appreciate any insights.
