    What is the usual response time? A week or so?

    Generally you get a canned we received your ticket .. to add further information reply to this ticket response... blah blah.
    This is the only email that you can communicate with anything else gets ignored.
    This usually goes into your junkmail folder.. so make sure to check for it..

    Depending on the issue.... anywhere from a day to never...

    Detailing out your issue on the forums sometimes clears up stuff.
    Sometimes it is best to call customer support and talk to a real person.
