Some of these are minor gripes, and others are ideas to improve the game. Take the tone with a grain of salt, please.
1. Allow people to buy permanent access to packs for their friends (like they do with the stupid guest passes). I got a couple friends I would buy a few packs for. In fact, do this with all locked content. It would boost sales and would be a great holiday gift for in-game friends.
2. Make light armor/dodge more viable. Just an inverse scale of how heavy armor gives PRR/MRR would be fine.
So here's my recommendation.Physical Resistance Rating offered by armor type:
Robes or Outfits: No PRR
Light Armor: 15 PRR
Medium Armor: 30 PRR
Heavy Armor: 45 PRR
Physical Resistance Ratings offered by shield type:
Buckler: No PRR
Light Shield: 5 PRR
Heavy Shield: 10 PRR
Tower Shield: 15 PRR
Devs can balance as needed, but I think this is a good starting point.Dodge Rating offered by armor type:
Robes or Outfits: 20 Dodge
Light Armor: 15 Dodge
Medium Armor: 10 Dodge
Heavy Armor: 0 Dodge
Dodge Rating offered by shield type:
Buckler: 10 Dodge
Light Shield: 5 Dodge
Heavy Shield: 0 Dodge
Tower Shield: -5 Dodge (Cannot be less than 0 total.)
3. Consolidate all the ship buffs to the Amenities Bar, and give them full duration and not expire on death. One click and get going. Would be perfect.
4. Fix the Shintao tree. It's fairly worthless without EDs, and if you are going to rely on those, you're still better off using something else. Specifically, it needs more options for PRR/MRR/Dodge.
5. Unbug the Barbarian special attack 'Slaughter' from the Ravager enhancement line. For that matter, Barbarians could use some extra dps since their defensive options suck and they have little/no sustain. Those drawbacks would be fine if Barbs could at least claim undisputed best 2h dps. Make it worth it.
6. Watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYzKuYOVyrY
In short, improve the end game somehow so that we have a reason to keep a character at cap.
7. Put the Otto's boxes on the DDO Store as a permanent item. I can't tell you how much I hate not being able to buy them when I actually want them.
8. Update some of the favor rewards NPCs give you to actually feel useful. A couple of the worst offenders are in House J and House P; I don't know anyone that buys those worthless buffs.
Anyway. I hope what I said gets through, despite how it may come across.
