Time to fire up PD Wednesdays again! With a twist!


WHO: 3 member of Drawn By Fate and...???

WHAT: Weekly night static group with Iron Man rules and a PD variant.

1. Play what you find. No twinking, AH, trade channels, or passing gear/plat/stuff between your characters.

1. Hard or better. Depending on the party and the challenge ahead, quest difficulty will vary from hard - elite subject to whims of group that night.

1. Consumables are OK. You can turn in drops for consumables or spend your hard earned plat on consumables. If you can buy it from an in game vendor (not a pawn broker or weapon/armor re-seller) it is OK to use.

1. 7 deaths and you're out. Doesn't matter how you die, doesn't matter how you are brought back. 7 deaths and and it's out of the party.

WHEN: Wednesday nights, starting Dec 10th, from 10pm-12pm EST.

WHERE: Sarlona. Korthos SNOWY side.

WHY: For fun, challenge, and fabulous prizes. Ok no prizes.

HOW: Roll up a L1 character - any race/class combination, complete Korthos SNOWY Jeets quest, then send me a PM or reply to this thread with the new character's name.

So far I believe the 3 of use are going to portray a trapper type, a bard focused fighter, and an evoker cleric (think of the classic priest class). Sure I pondered the unkillable paladin, but I'm not doing this for "easy mode".

I'm just going to guard the quest entrances after party buffs, blessing your journey into the unknown. BTW, your rules didn't mention ship buffs, so I assume they are forbidden as well?

Sign me up. Though, the easiest class for me will be Artificer. I will take requests on which spells to take at each level, however, as I am group oriented.

Edit: Will a lack of speakers/microphone be an issue? My computer speakers kind of crackle from being dropped, stepped on, and other accidents while moving and I never bothered to replace them. So it's kind of awkward for me to use voice chat.

I am interested in that as well, although the play time is a bit off for me (it will be 7 am in the morning and I really aren't a morning person but i will give it a shot.)

I could take a Wizzard or Sorc although I have never played a caster here. Well I am mostly group oriented so let me know what I should roll (still 28 build)

It looks like we might have 6 already, but roll something up. You never know if someone will drop.

F2P will end up proving problematic later on if you don't have access to many of the packs. Early on though we'll be focusing on Korthos and the Harbor so it won't be an issue for a few weeks.

As long as you can hear us, not having a mic won't be an issue. No speakers whatsoever will be kind of rough for you though since the rest of us will be using voice for 90% of our communication.

Not sure if you still have spots open, but Kalyyn just arrived in Stormreach fresh off of an apparent dragon attack he doesn't remember; dwarves never do remember what happens on any type of boat, thank Moradin he made it back alive and is ready to serve any party willing to pay a dwarven fighter for hire. Hopefully there is some sort of party willing to join him in the search of conquest and treasure?

Just finished the Jeets quest, what are we doing with daily rolls?
