I am always confused by these posts because a few +4 to +5 upgrade tomes drop for me every month in Haunted Halls. I am far from a grinder, but they drop alot for me especially in the end dragon chests and very end chest.

Some people have good luck - that's part of the problem.

And they'll have good luck about different things. I haven't pulled any +5 tomes, but my first bard (Attickus of Sarlona) pulled a Torc on I believe his second time running the sands raid.

One of the most exciting things I can remember in DDO was one of the times my first rogue (Oldero of Sarlona) ran the Reaver raid, and a guy passed me a +3 Dex tome. My first ever +3 tome, and it was one that was incredibly useful for the toon!

I had a +4 to +5 WIS tome drop for me on my 2nd or 3rd EN Thunder Peak run a week or so after Thunderholme was released.
