Default U24 Heart of Madness Items

EDIT: These items were given out by KookieKobold, who was kind enough to spawn an entire 20 or so batches of items from the chain. He left them on the floor of the Test Dojo. As such, I have every reason to believe that this is the entire item list.

EDIT 2: These items are not Best in Slot, but they are not garbage. Regular quest items should NEVER displace max level RAID ITEMS. If it was the case, I would assume that Turbine had laid off the real Developer and the hamster from the hamster wheel was filling in. They are near perfect the way they are.

    Thank you for the pics.

Is this a partial or complete list?

(Just need to know whether I should sharpen the pitchfork over the lack of Monk gear).

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the new Xoriat rune-arm is utter trash on heroic!

Could we please get the Arcane Armor made into medium armor instead of light? That way all casters can benefit it with the armor up changes. Warchanters, Eldritch Knights, Druids, etc. It'd be a lot better for all of those builds to be able to have a decent set of named medium armor, there's more than enough light armor right now. We specifically need more medium armor that druids can wear in epic levels. Dragonscale/plate isn't cutting it anymore.

That armour with it's Insightful Int/Con and it's Arcane Casting Dexterity is very specifically a Wizard item!
It doesn't even have Cha for the Sorcs!

Druids may need a good Epic Hide Armour but they should really get their OWN item rather than having to make do with one made specifically for Wizards!

I'm thinking that Orb looks pretty nice.
Leader of Legion of Eberron on Cannith.

    Characters: Loromir & Baldomir....among others.

    Only two looks interesting:

The Mythic Bone Crusher. I wonder the numbers on Rockslide and Shockwave.
Tower shield just because of Orlakk's prison

what disappointing. A large pile of garbage.

The necklace is not bad, and the glasses are decent for a divine caster (not int or car? Extremely limited use item --- fewer people grinding it)

Little interest in this update. Too bad, a waste.

    Personal thoughts:

-The necklace seems reasonable for a meleeish item.

-Pleased to see a divine-focused orb, and 150 spellpower x2 is really nice on a one-handed item. The problem is, I really want to use the item, but can't see any reason to do so over Silver Librum. Yes, I get more radiance and divine spellpower than most other single items, but with a Lanturn's Ring + Librum will give me more, for example. The item needs something else to carry it for casters.

-Please don't change the Arcane Armor -> it might not be better than Shadowscale for a DC caster (although DC-wise you can almost certainly make it a wash), but for Int-based toons not interested in Wizard DCs its perfect. My (evasionist) harper melee build will love it. Not every item has to be built for a cookie-cutter build.

-The DC on the shield is decent for once - I don't have a shield toon so I'll leave overall comparisons to others, but this is what on-hit effects should look like in epic

-Docent seems solid (for a wizard or arti, at least) but kind of boring. There are too few docents with interesting effects

The rest I don't really care about so I'll omit my thoughts. But one thing really bugs me - its been ages since an update added a decent, useful cloak that grabs the eye (palemasters excepted I guess). When can they get some love?

Leaving it light armor for the sake of evasion is built for cookie-cutter builds. In particular the 'pale-trapper' builds. Like I said, I think it'd be better off as medium armor and blanket the wider spectrum of melee wizards with additional PRR and MRR than creating just another light armor for evasion types.

Last update brought medium and heavy armors, I guess that's why we're getting light and docent now.

It would be nice if devs took a look at existing xoriat items and tweaked them a bit, added slots and extra (w) and stuff.

We got heavy & medium armors with U23, the light armor, robe & docent wearers got zip. There is no high level light armor in the game except the thunder-forged, and it does not work for everyone, and for some builds is not as good as the flawless dragonscale, which is a very good armor for level 25, but not for levels 27 & 28. We could definitely use some high level light armors, and robes & docents for that matter. And not just for wizards, but for the evasion types you seem so disdainful of. I also don't see why they can't provide both medium & light flavors on the armors, as well as robes & docents. They did in previous packs.
