Nothing at all on Orien right now past level 20, and not much below that. Posted an LFM myself but got tired of it after 30 minutes with nobody joining it. Time to merge. It is overdue.

Normally I'd support you, I've been in favor of server merges for a long time, but now I feel like it's just time to shut the game down and plan DDO2 or something. The amount of cheating that happened and still happens now, has damaged this game beyond recognition. It's business system is the closest to P2W it ever been and nobody outside die hard fanboys would call DDO a real F2P game anymore. No advertisement, we get 1 or 2 real updates a year, the 2 others are worthless... The dev team is smaller and smaller. This game is finished. Not in the sense that they'll lock the door soon, but in the sense that it's never going to get bigger and better. They'll milk money out of those who stayed for some times.
I really hate to have to move on. But I'm dumb at this point to even have this tiny flicker of hope and still log in once in a while, for all my love of the DDO of 2009, the good memories...
Orien was in serious trouble before it became the Default Server.
Orien lost the Default and is now back in the same place it was before.
Orien is a tight knit server with the strongest all welcome chat channel I've seen on any server {Titan} BUT it's hard for newbies to feel welcome there {personal experience}.
The closest server in population demographics {from personal experience} to Orien for me is Argonnessen.
I'd suggest merging:
Orien with Argo
Ghallanda with Wayfinder
Keep Sarlona as the Default for now
and have 6 Servers rather than 8.
Or fix the duping so players will be "forced" to group, have to actually trade for/buy past lives and actually play content more than once for the ingredients.

You are the one choosing not to play alts.
Casual player now investing way less than I used to into the game, playing 1-3 months at a time and still want nothing to do with Reaper. #improvepuggrouping#alldifficultiesmatter
It's interesting that Cannith's time as Default actually made difference. Before that, Cannith was lagging in the same realms as Orien. Cannith still has some semblance of life to it at this point.
I'm thinking that Orien didn't get a long enough turn as default....but maybe it wouldn't make a difference.
Leader of Legion of Eberron on Cannith.
Characters: Loromir & Baldomir....among others.

Personally this server has been dead for a long time. And it hasn't been because of duping, "super" guilds, private channels, etc. Simply put, this game is dying in general. More and more people are getting fed up with the BS from this game and are quitting. This game is LONG overdue for a server merge. But I highly doubt that the devs will do anything like that because of some people will rant and cry about their dime a dozen name that they will have to change. Personally I could care less what my toon name is, I just want more people to party with. And I know I'm not the only one that thinks that.
Exactly! Except I play my 46 alts all the time and each one of their names is a precious reminder of how witty and creative I am. Losing even a single one would cause me to go into a hysterical tantrum.
I'd rather play on an empty server by myself then have to rename even one of my treasured mules....I mean alts.
No to server merges!
