Hello all!
I am curious about this 5th tier enhancement in the SB tree. I am simply not sure how to judge this one. Is it worthwhile or are points better spent elsewhere?
Thanks for any insight!!!

Short answer: Yes it is very strong and in most cases it even beats the Keen Edge enhancement from Kensai.
However the math is a bit tricky, see https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...9-on-a-rapier).
Yes, definitely. I would highly recommend it, especially for just 2 APs....I also questioned it at first and while leveling up my current Swashbuckler I ran for a bit without it...Crits are just awesome as a Swashbuckler, and I would notice sometimes I could get a bunch of rolls in a row where I didn't crit. Sometimes it seemed like 6, 7, 8 swings with no critical hit. After I picked up Exploit Weakness I definitely noticed I was getting critical hits more often. The most I see the counter get up to now is about 4 or 5 or so. To me, Exploit Weakness is a nice hedge against the random number generator, and in practice I've experienced getting critical hits more often vs. not having it.
