You the Man C-Dog always going the extra mile
Probably obvious to most but this would be a good opportunity to use VKF to carry the build a ways if only temporarily.

This is a really fun build for f2p players who have unlocked Drow. I made one long ago, and recenty got her to level 20 to TR after u45. What might this build look like post-u45?
I went the piercing and Deathnip route, but with favored weapons and Knight's Training, I'm wondering if I should be switching to something else. Perhaps I should farm a pair of the adamantine ore longswords from Relic of a Sovereign Past?

My hunch is ranger / paladin will still be the way to go. KotC will be getting some buffs, but nothing in tier-5 KotC seems better than what's already in tier-5 Tempest for TWF. Depends on whether the new Holy Retribution is worthwhile, I guess. Not sure how to redo enhancements; maybe 40 Tempest / 24 KotC / 13 Sacred D or thereabouts?

Would there be any benefits to staying pure paladin? The new paladin pass popping up right as I had planned to do the first TR on this old character (so old she doesn't have a deity feat), has really thrown me for a loop. With most of my DDO playing time being 2010-2012, I tend to think in terms of the way DDO used to be, so my ways of thinking tend to also be a bit obsolete.
The TWF Drow Paladin seems to still be effective and new player friendly, so it would be sweet to see a thread with an overhauled u45 look at this classic.

Uhh it's simple to remember your leveling order?
Now that Knight's Training feat is being added to KotC, it's worth using those Favored weapons. It also frees your deity choices thanks to KotC's Adept Combatant: "Longswords, Battle Axes, Heavy Maces, Morningstars, and War Hammers are considered as favored Weapons regardless of your religion." So you don't need to go with Sovereign Host or Onatar for longswords or warhammers, respectively, letting you pick whichever deity you want.
